Extensive fan - nice design
This fan is rather quiet and does a good job circulating the air in a room without having a gale blowing. As an player I appreciate the design and I like the way it rotates down to keep the fan dust free. My one and only complaint is that it is difficult to soften the sound of a go to bed on and off and to change the speed. The switch is located at the front on the bottom. It is a rotating switch and a little stiff. This was unmistakably done for design purposes, so that the switch would not intrude upon the design. In this instance they may have gone a little too far for structure's sake. Having said that, it is still a superior fan and worth the price. I would buy this again and would recommend it.

This is a glaring fan.
We wanted a grudging yet reliable fan we could move from room to room. This Vornado is perfect. The base is versatile, allowing us to aim it up at the ceiling, at an side or level with the floor. On high it does make a little noise but it is so powerful we have only acclimatized it on low. I would certainly recommend it.

Works, but it's overpriced and much louder than I expected
I expected more from this commodity.

It does move a fair amount of air, but it's far too loud at all settings. At the lowest setting, calling it 'whisper ease' is a joke.

It is solidly built for a plastic fan, but it hardly merits the price. It only has a handful of settings/adjustments. Vornado must be making a TON of legal tender on each fan.

Vornado dynamo!
This pygmy beauty works quietly and efficiently to move the air in a 12 x 18 bedroom. Previously, the self-control air from the window A/C never seemed to make it to the far side of the room. Now, the comfort level is much better.

Options for the Vornado 733B
The Vornado 733B is an exclusive of fan. However, I wanted and bought the Vornado 735C which is the exact same fan but in Tan not Black (less ugly) and with 5 speeds instead of 3 so that one can further subtle tune the output and noise level- for an extra $10. Well worth the extra $10. The 735C is not currently within reach from Amazon or it's current vendors but it is available at [...]. They currently offer a 10% lessen and free shipping on orders over $60. Amazon is the best and they don't seem to mind if good customers part options or better deals outside of their fence in our reviews. Hope to see the Vornado 735C to hand on Amazon soon.

Splendid Fan

The Vornado 530L is a things little fan. My family owns two of them. We enjoy using them in the bedrooms as a means to cirlutate air and also dream up a soothing sound that masks sounds from outside.

Seemly, Overpriced Fan
Agreeable fan but definitely not worth $90 (delivered) or even the $44 I paid for it. While it might last longer than the $30 ones selling at Walmart, its house, wind flow, and features aren't any better. If you are looking for a simple, low profile fan and don't be self-assured paying for it, this may be the one for you.

Vornado 615L
I purchased this upshot about a week ago (on sale from another website). There is just too much hype surrounding this "air circulator". Maybe I expected too much from this after viewing the video, reading about the technology, other reviews etc.

Now that I have had the chance of using it first hand, I would say it is a glorified fan - missing some critical features such as :

1. Side-to-side swivel - IMHO, adding a gimbal feature would only enhance the airflow (and equalize temperature more evenly)

2. Adjustable height - No joking.. fully assembled, this is about 3 feet tall.. One would at least expect it to be taller than a bed to have any use in a bedroom!

The control trade is quite awkward - in order to turn it off, you first have to increase the speed all the way to 3. Similarly, from off status, it goes to full speed on the first click.. turning the dial further lowers the speed. Not a big deal.. principled odd!

Also, the part of this being a "whole room" circulator seems to be an exaggeration.. it is a one (or two) person fan with the face directly pointed at you. That said, acclimated to this way (at speed 2), it does keep me cool in the sweltering Florida heat.. It moves a lot of air.

It makes about as much rumour a regular desk fan. I've read lots of reviews claiming extremely long biography for these fans.. time alone will tell (It does come with a 5 yr warranty.. that is good!)
