Implausible Fan
Bizarre fan that I use in a bathroom which has no built-in fan. Extremely powerful on any of 3 settings. I would buy more of this well-built product in the future if needed and praisefully recommend to others.

Vornado: the Macbook Pro of fans

This is a monstrous fan.
We wanted a nugatory yet reliable fan we could move from room to room. This Vornado is perfect. The base is versatile, allowing us to aim it up at the ceiling, at an cusp or level with the floor. On high it does make a little noise but it is so powerful we have only habituated to it on low. I would certainly recommend it.

Works, but it's overpriced and much louder than I expected
I expected more from this consequence.

It does move a fair amount of air, but it's far too loud at all settings. At the lowest setting, calling it 'whisper serenity' is a joke.

It is solidly built for a plastic fan, but it hardly merits the price. It only has a handful of settings/adjustments. Vornado must be making a TON of fat on each fan.

Vornado dynamo!
This little asset works quietly and efficiently to move the air in a 12 x 18 bedroom. Previously, the cool air from the window A/C never seemed to overstate it to the far side of the room. Now, the comfort level is much better.

Options for the Vornado 733B
The Vornado 733B is an extraordinary fan. However, I wanted and bought the Vornado 735C which is the exact same fan but in Tan not Black (less ugly) and with 5 speeds instead of 3 so that one can further bright tune the output and noise level- for an extra $10. Well worth the extra $10. The 735C is not currently ready from Amazon or it's current vendors but it is available at [...]. They currently offer a 10% gloss over and free shipping on orders over $60. Amazon is the best and they don't seem to mind if good customers dispensation options or better deals outside of their fence in our reviews. Hope to see the Vornado 735C readily obtainable on Amazon soon.

Proper, Overpriced Fan
Complex fan but definitely not worth $90 (delivered) or even the $44 I paid for it. While it might last longer than the $30 ones selling at Walmart, its structure, wind flow, and features aren't any better. If you are looking for a simple, low profile fan and don't mark paying for it, this may be the one for you.

Vornado 615L
I purchased this issue about a week ago (on sale from another website). There is just too much hype surrounding this "air circulator". Maybe I expected too much from this after viewing the video, reading about the technology, other reviews etc.

Now that I have had the chance of using it first hand, I would say it is a glorified fan - missing some critical features such as :

1. Side-to-side swivel - IMHO, adding a turn feature would only enhance the airflow (and equalize temperature more evenly)

2. Adjustable height - Gravely.. fully assembled, this is about 3 feet tall.. One would at least expect it to be taller than a bed to have any use in a bedroom!

The control turn is quite awkward - in order to turn it off, you first have to increase the speed all the way to 3. Similarly, from off status, it goes to full speed on the first click.. turning the dial further lowers the speed. Not a big deal.. justifiable odd!

Also, the part of this being a "whole room" circulator seems to be an exaggeration.. it is a one (or two) person fan with the face directly pointed at you. That said, utilized this way (at speed 2), it does keep me cool in the sweltering Florida heat.. It moves a lot of air.

It makes about as much turmoil a regular desk fan. I've read lots of reviews claiming extremely long person for these fans.. time alone will tell (It does come with a 5 yr warranty.. that is good!)

Disposition vornados, except for this one.
We have 2 whole lodgings circulators from Vornado that are excellent. One is over 15 years old, and has been running nearly 24/7 the whole time. The other is over 5 years old and is still huge. But... this model disappointed me. We got it for our bedroom in the spring of this year. It now rattles so loud, we can't drowse with it on. We have tried tightening the screws, etc. but the plastic frame somehow rattles like a helicopter man about town. Maybe this particular one has a slightly out-of-balance blade or something. It is definitely uncharacteristic of the Vornados I and my kindred have owned. I hope it's not one of those "they don't make 'em like they used to" things. If you have the room and extra moola, go for the next prototype up.

So Far It Works Prodigious
Like many populace we have been trying to do without air conditioning this summer. We saw this fan in a store on sale for $60 (regular price $80) and we bought it. So far, it moves the air very well and we have had no problems. It doesn't take up much leeway and can be placed on the floor, a table or in a window. On high it sounds like most fans but moves the air well-advised. We may buy a second one if it gets really hot and use it on another floor of our house.

Great Compact Fan
Like other Vornado fans with their vortex grills, this one moves an huge amount of air for its size.

I had the chance to compare its output side-by-side with another little fan I like, the Holmes Blizzard, and this Vornado (called the "Touchy") blew the doors off the Blizzard!

I have not had the problem with a high-pitched whine that another customer alluded to, but my item did develop an annoying rattle at high speed.

I found I could eliminate the rattle temporarily by tightening the screws on the back of the turn out that in the event of. Unfortunately, the motor is so powerful at high speed that the screws would soon come let go again, and the rattle would resume.

So -- I installed locking washers under the screws on the back of the case (totalling sixty cents in parts), and I credit I have solved the rattle problem for good.

This is the reason I deducted one star -- customers shouldn't be doing Vornado's engineering for them!

Otherwise I use this fan both on the flooring and on the shelf of a window too small for most box fans, and it excels at circulating great quantities of air.

Makes a rich pitched noise and is overpriced
For upstanding shy of $80, I expected this fan to be a lot nicer. It makes a subtle high pitched noise that you can understand at all speeds but it is worse the higher you go. The easy to remove grill is not so easy and feels like low-grade plastic that snaps into these slots. Although not adjustable, it is a nice size and fits well in a window. But why not pay a lot less for a conventional old box fan? They are just as quiet. This product is totally over-rated. If it did not make that annoying noise and felt less junky I would possibly be satisfied enough to give it four stars for size and design.
