These are the honest deal
I opted to pay a small extra in order to get these Vornado brand filters. Unlike the aftermarket ones I've had in the past, these fit unambiguously in the humidifier without any gaps. They also absorb moisture and stay damp all the way to the top. (Previous cheapy versions I've had did not.) My only itch is that these came with charcoal wicking on one side that help combat odor. That missing element is the only by virtue of I didn't rate these at 5 stars.

Unalloyed filter!
I have a very vital Vornado room humidifier for the bedroom. Initially, when buying replacement filters, I chose the generic ones due to cost, but the fit was moderately loose. I subsequently chose the Vornado ones for a little more cost, but much better fit. These are perfect; I have acclimated to them for years. Highly recommended!

Still regard my vornado humidifier
For the fee and job it does, still haven't found anything better. My only issues is buying these wicks every season, but thats the assay for having a humidifier that doesn't leave condensation or contribute to mold growth in your business! I'd recommend it to anyone.

Absolute replacement.
Sometimes things in the end do last a long time, like our Vornado 5-Gallon Humidifiers. I appreciate being able to find replacement pads that are suitable quality and a perfect fit.

liking they lasted longer!
The Wicks line great when you first get them. Eventually, they succumb to mineral deposits and lose their ability to wick. I look after to get 4-6 weeks out of one set. I wish that they lasted longer or that there was a solvent you could use to dissolve the minerals (hot salt water works a little). Until that happens, I'll be buying refills on a regular basis. I suppose that it beats fetching lots of colds or having dry skin all the time.

A Cooler Sun Room
Our sun range faces almost due west and that means HOT in Texas in the summer. I installed sun screens on the floor-to-highest windows but it still was uncomfortable there. This little fan makes a BIG difference in the temperature so we can enjoy that room all year big now.

Vornado Fan
Not much of a fan! You have to be honourableness in front of it to feel anything. The only way to get "some" air is to use high speed which is noisy. To it's credit, it is small and fits on the nightstand. The on/off divert is hard to use. An ok fan if you don't need a high powered one.

Performs well
Bought this fan for a poor bathroom. It is performing consistently with what I expected based on the reviews. It's powerful enough to make a contrariety dispute, and I can feel the airflow from a few feet away. Great for personal use in a small office or stay. It's nice looking and does not look out of place with my decor. Very happy with this purchase.

Honourable Product
I predilection this fan except for the on/off switch. It's at the very bottom, and since the fan swivels, you have to either use 2 hands or, if you tilt the fan up, there is a place where you can grip it and turn it on/off with your thumb. If this sounds interested, you are right. But once you get it turned on, it works wonderfully.

Decidedly Love It!
I ordered this fan even after reading some charming negative things about it. Not sure why - I absolutely love it! I have it on my desk at work and only need to set it on the lowest locale to get plenty of air. Sure, the motor makes a little noise but what do you expect? I love the scheme and it looks so nice sitting on my desk. Most people can't even tell that it's a fan. Definitely going to on the blink another one for next to my bed.

Large foot heater
I have grown to rapture this foot heater.
I've read other people's reviews complaining of weak heating from this mark of cadency, and I agree in that this heater is not strong enough to heat through thick shoes. Instead, I use it at home, and it works pronounced (and gentle enough) in warming bare or socked feet. It even works in warming through a pair of thin slippers. It's very stout. No moving parts to break down on you. The foot rest is very comfortable- good incline and cordial bumps for passive foot massage. Here is the great part!-- all controls are easily manipulated by your foot. Thus, no requirement to crawl around under your desk to turn on/off or to change the heat setting. It actually has three setting choices: spacy heat, low heat and fan (too cool feet on a hot day). It also has a safety 4hr auto shutoff- you can resume heating if you scarcity to use it longer than 4hrs, which I sometimes do :-)
One con: On initial use, a plastic burning odor did develop. However after continued usage it has flatly disappeared. I think it took several weeks of enduring that odor...but it's so worth it now.

This is the most wonderful ivention of the human kind !
If you m at the desk for long hours, this is the best item you can get to keep your feet warm. It's a little dissonant, but I really don't mind. It's just as loud as an AC, which is fine because it puts me in a trance to work more hurriedly. I don't like when it's too quiet.

Not a complete buy
I have had Vornado heaters before and now that I exertion in an office where I need to bring my feet up becasue I'm short and need heat, I was dissapointed!
This emblem does not work on the high heat setting at all! It turns off as soon as I try to put it on the high intensify setting. I called the company and they said I should return it for a replacement but I had already thrown away the packaging and needed something so I didn't revenue it. I originally wanted something to prop my feet up because I"m short and the office chair I sit in doesn't move down far enough/the escritoire is too high and has no keyboard shelf so I'm sitting high and need a foot rest or my legs will solely dangle. I saw this heater and though it would be a great idea for this and to keep me warm in this cold office. The low setting is the only one that works since I plugged it in for the first at intervals. It gets really cold in my office and I am very disappointed that the high setter never worked suitably. I would not buy this for fear that it will do the same to you! I will be shopping soon for a new one as soon as I can afford to do this!

The upper-class footrest ever.
This oil-burning stove makes coming home from work and putting my feet under the desk a blessing. In place of of slowly coaxing warmth back into my tired toes, I get an air massage and can really relax while fascinating up on email and news. For five stars, it should have a remote control so it could be turned off and on without scrabbling around in the dark under the escritoire!

Could be upstanding
I purchased this foot unwind/heater in October 2009. I loved it at first because it worked. As a "foot rest" it has a good conniving, is comfortable and sturdy. However, I bought it for the heating element and it's very disappointing how quickly it stopped working ... and I didn't even it use it very much. Now, in Jan 2010, it just works. My feet hardly warm up on the LOW setting. And on HIGH it only blows cold air. I am very failed.

Lyrical good
I'm joyful with this fan for the most part. It's small, quiet (on low), and reasonably powerful considering its size. It also looks nice (for a fan).
I only have a few complaints:
- Turning off/on is unsatisfactorily designed, as many others have mentioned. This is much more annoying than you might consider.
- The switch goes Off, High, Low - so to turn it on Low, which is what I on the whole want, I have to go past High first. Considering it's a pain to turn off/on in the first place, this makes that first bullet stage even more annoying.
- It needs a "Medium" setting. Low is usually good for me, but sometimes I want more, and High is much louder and moves much more air than Low. If it had a Course setting, that would be really nice.

Suits its perseverance
Like others have said, it's a smart looking little fan albeit a bit pricey for what it is. The low speed is great, and the high speed is significantly louder while not pushing that much more air. I've been using it for a few months now and it only ever sees the low zip setting, but it's decent enough to keep me cool in my office where it's often 79F or so.

Amazing Fan
I had looked for a tight quiet fan for a long time since my venerable Braun burned out. This one is a great replacement. The low dart provides adequate air movement while being virtually silent. This is a nice feature, as I use it at night while I rest to keep my head cool. The high speed provides significant air flow for such a small part, and is fairly quiet at the high speed. It can be pointed it about any angle you could want. The only reasons I did not give it 5 stars is that I palm off on it had a "middle" speed as there are times when low is too low and high too high. The only other detraction is the on / off switch and speed balance dial is difficult to use, especially if you have big hands as I do. It's a case of style over function. That aside, it is a passionate fan, small but moves plenty of air for stealth operation, well made, and fairly priced. I might even buy one or two more in case anything happens to this one. Buy it, you won't be let down.
