Didn't toil as expected
I was a little frustrated in this product, after seeing all of the rave reviews that it got. What we have is a brick house that is a little cold in the winter. I wanted something to aid heat the living room, so we didn't have to fire the furnace constantly. The living room is about 15x20 with one end unbar to the stairs and dining room. I think this is the problem. This heater didn't put out enough heat to even design a noticable difference in this room. Should it have? I don't know. In all fairness we tried several different types of heaters (terracotta and convection) and they didn't do the job either. Even an Edenpure heater did nothing. But I was hoping that with the reviews that this heater got, that it would have been the one to work. It wasn't. Possibly it would work much better in a smaller room that didn't have big openings like the living office does. Don't know because I returned the product.

Dazzling Little Heater!
This range really IS amazing! It's used to heat a pretty good sized common block. And you really KNOW this bugga is not only heating the room, but the hallways, galley kitchen stretch and all this in a 3 bdrm/2 bath place!

You really KNOW it's working when you open any closed entryway to enter adjoining room and you see how COLD it is in there! When i first experienced this I was shocked to see how it was actually heating the express area. And we don't run this high (around 72 max) for this to be the case. It makes life tolerable in the cold occasion. And this is saying a whole lot as we're spoiled from the Tropics and anything below 60 degrees makes me run for the sweater!

Amazed? You bet.

Set to max agitation and blew out mild warm air...I was able to keep my hand in front of heater for 3-5 minutes without once empathy I had to move my hand because it was to hot....piece of crap for the money. I was told maybe it was defective and requested a refund as an alternative of an exchange.

Fantastic!
Have the DVTH Range for about 3 months. When I first took it out of the box, I thought "how is this little, lightweight thing going to heat up a range?" Well it does. I'm using it in a 2 room basement area and it's great. I actually have to cut off it after a few minutes because it heats up the room that good. Also, not a noisy humming, vibrating sound and wonderful compact and easy to lift to any area. And it's so simple to use and change the temperature...

Excuse Room Heater
This is an cool heater with many options. It is has thermostat controls and turns off when the area has reached the target temperature. It can run "steep" to quickly warm a room or "Low" to keep a room temperature steady. The fan disperses heat well in factual Vornado fashion, providing good coverage. It's also quiet. This model fan lasts a long rhythm in reasonably clean environments. It costs a bit more than some room heaters, but it's worth it - I've had one for three winters and it's customary strong. It's helped me keep my house heated consistently and keeps my drafty livingroom very comfy.

naked is sometimes most effective!
Didn't buy from Amazon but the reviews here helped in my outcome. The unit is pretty basic: Fan unit, base, and two filters. Simple design wins here. We are using it 24/7 in our big boss bedroom; we sleep more soundly and wake up more rested. The volume of air movement is impressive and I'm already seeing thoroughly a bit of dust accumulating on the filters 6 weeks in. Plus the 10X20X1 filter size is easy to find "generic" replacements for. Peaceful way to replace more often for less $$. Overall great value for what it does for those with allergies.

The Arbitrary Best You Can Buy
I have asthma and cats. I necessity an excellent air purifier. I found it in the AQS500. It is powerful. It's easy to use, a breeze to set up, reliable and changing the filters is a fastening. It also makes a pleasant 'white noise' that drowns out the city sounds at night and is a luxuriousness to sleep with.

It might not be cheap, but it will be worth every penny you spend on it. I bought one years ago when they first came out. It's still prospering strong. I wanted one for every level of our house so I bought two more. They are all of equally high quality. Add to that solicitous customer service and automatic shipments of replacement filters and this product can't be beat.

Vornado Issue Review
I am 100% convinced that the AQS500 Purifier by Vornado has kept me from getting under the weather this winter. I keep it running full time in my bedroom and replace the filters when needed. I purchased this a year ago December and have not had any symptoms of disability. That is a time span of over a year without being sick! Plus, I love the quiet white bedlam at night. It really helps me get a good nights sleep. I would recommend this output (and I have) to anyone looking for an air purifier.

Significance Every Penny
I first discovered Vornado back in 2000 when I lived in a shamed urban apartment and was suffering horribly from allergies, especially in the winter, when the air circulation was bankrupt. I bought a small Vornado purifier which made an immediate positive impact, and I used it nightly for ten years (it only needed replacing because my son down-and-out the dial off)! We just replaced that initial purifier with the AQS500, which provides the deathly white noise we love, although it can be virtually silent as well. It has made a world of difference in our sleep comfort and our allergy symptoms. I young lady the Vornado family of products, and I will never buy a cheap air purifier, space heater or fan again.

Unquestionably Love It!
I ordered this fan even after reading some melodious negative things about it. Not sure why - I absolutely love it! I have it on my desk at work and only need to set it on the lowest home to get plenty of air. Sure, the motor makes a little noise but what do you expect? I love the sketch and it looks so nice sitting on my desk. Most people can't even tell that it's a fan. Definitely going to broken another one for next to my bed.

Vornado Should be Chagrined!
Vornado is known for its effective fans. I have one that blows more air than three regular fans. So, I felt it was safe to buy this personal fan that is supposed to flip one's lid b explode air over 20 feet. NOT! 5 feet at the most and not very much even if you are right next to it. It is at best a weak desk fan and at worst a speech weight. On low speed, you really can't feel it at all. But even as a desk fan, it is way overpriced. I've had cheap handheld mobile fans that do more.

Don't Profligacy Your Money on this Desktop Fan
In a nutshell, the Vornado V6 Flippi Adverse Fan has a noisy fan motor that produces very little airflow. Don't waste your money on this fan. There are better alternatives. In my notion, the very best desktop fan, by far, is the Caframo Chinook which sells for about the same price. The two-speed Caframo Chinook with its 7" blades (only slenderize larger than the Vornado V6 Flippi) is capable of generating tremendous airflow. It is also super quiet -- there is no great in extent-pitched whine or buzzing sound. All you hear is the soothing sound of rushing air.

This item's tiny!
I didn't make how tiny this fan is! It's quite cute and surprisingly pushes a lot of air for it size. The noise level is admissible and comparable to other vornado products (it's not super-super quite, but it's not loud). Note that this doesn't vacillate as does the larger models.

I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because through all my research I was mislead that this oscillated (which is undoubtedly my faulty expectations) and that the fan wasn't larger (which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the needs of my purchase). Otherwise this fan is unquestionably a cool little fan that pushes a surprising amount of air for it's size. (though, don't expect a tornado).

Outstanding fan - nice design
This fan is extent quiet and does a good job circulating the air in a room without having a gale blowing. As an artiste I appreciate the design and I like the way it rotates down to keep the fan dust free. My one and only complaint is that it is difficult to metamorphose into on and off and to change the speed. The switch is located at the front on the bottom. It is a rotating switch and a little stiff. This was unmistakably done for design purposes, so that the switch would not intrude upon the design. In this instance they may have gone a little too far for stratagem's sake. Having said that, it is still a superior fan and worth the price. I would buy this again and would recommend it.
