Certainly Love It!
I ordered this fan even after reading some pretty unresponsive things about it. Not sure why - I absolutely love it! I have it on my desk at work and only need to set it on the lowest frame to get plenty of air. Sure, the motor makes a little noise but what do you expect? I love the style and it looks so nice sitting on my desk. Most people can't even tell that it's a fan. Definitely going to in disrepair another one for next to my bed.

Vornado Should be Sheepish!
Vornado is known for its dynamic fans. I have one that blows more air than three regular fans. So, I felt it was safe to buy this personal fan that is supposed to waft air over 20 feet. NOT! 5 feet at the most and not very much even if you are right next to it. It is at best a weak desk fan and at worst a script weight. On low speed, you really can't feel it at all. But even as a desk fan, it is way overpriced. I've had cheap handheld mobile fans that do more.

Don't Indulgence Your Money on this Desktop Fan
In a nutshell, the Vornado V6 Flippi Intimate Fan has a noisy fan motor that produces very little airflow. Don't waste your money on this fan. There are better alternatives. In my notion, the very best desktop fan, by far, is the Caframo Chinook which sells for about the same price. The two-speed Caframo Chinook with its 7" blades (only measure larger than the Vornado V6 Flippi) is capable of generating tremendous airflow. It is also super quiet -- there is no merry-pitched whine or buzzing sound. All you hear is the soothing sound of rushing air.

This attitude's tiny!
I didn't bring how tiny this fan is! It's quite cute and surprisingly pushes a lot of air for it size. The noise level is satisfying and comparable to other vornado products (it's not super-super quite, but it's not loud). Note that this doesn't fluctuate as does the larger models.

I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because through all my research I was mislead that this oscillated (which is as likely as not my faulty expectations) and that the fan wasn't larger (which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the needs of my purchase). Otherwise this fan is certainly a cool little fan that pushes a surprising amount of air for it's size. (though, don't expect a tornado).

Didn't business as expected
I was a barely disappointed in this product, after seeing all of the rave reviews that it got. What we have is a brick house that is a little chest in the winter. I wanted something to help heat the living room, so we didn't have to fire the furnace unremittingly. The living room is about 15x20 with one end open to the stairs and dining room. I think this is the problem. This stove-top didn't put out enough heat to even create a noticable difference in this room. Should it have? I don't know. In all fairness we tried several multifarious types of heaters (ceramic and convection) and they didn't do the job either. Even an Edenpure heater did nothing. But I was hoping that with the reviews that this range got, that it would have been the one to work. It wasn't. Maybe it would work much better in a smaller room that didn't have big openings like the living dwelling does. Don't know because I returned the product.

Fabulous Little Heater!
This oil-burning stove really IS amazing! It's used to heat a pretty good sized common region. And you really KNOW this bugga is not only heating the room, but the hallways, galley kitchen quarter and all this in a 3 bdrm/2 bath place!

You really KNOW it's working when you open any closed entrance to enter adjoining room and you see how COLD it is in there! When i first experienced this I was shocked to see how it was actually heating the complete area. And we don't run this high (around 72 max) for this to be the case. It makes life tolerable in the cold available. And this is saying a whole lot as we're spoiled from the Tropics and anything below 60 degrees makes me run for the sweater!

Amazed? You bet.

trash
Set to max animate and blew out mild warm air...I was able to keep my hand in front of heater for 3-5 minutes without once inkling I had to move my hand because it was to hot....piece of crap for the money. I was told maybe it was defective and requested a refund as contrasted with of an exchange.

First-class!
Have the DVTH Stove-top for about 3 months. When I first took it out of the box, I thought "how is this little, lightweight thing going to heat up a reside?" Well it does. I'm using it in a 2 room basement area and it's great. I actually have to keep in it after a few minutes because it heats up the room that good. Also, not a noisy humming, vibrating sound and wonderful compact and easy to lift to any area. And it's so simple to use and change the temperature...

Cool Room Heater
This is an save that heater with many options. It is has thermostat controls and turns off when the area has reached the target temperature. It can run "great in extent" to quickly warm a room or "Low" to keep a room temperature steady. The fan disperses heat well in dependable Vornado fashion, providing good coverage. It's also quiet. This model fan lasts a long notwithstanding in reasonably clean environments. It costs a bit more than some room heaters, but it's worth it - I've had one for three winters and it's active strong. It's helped me keep my house heated consistently and keeps my drafty livingroom very comfy.

Grotesque Fan

Bumbling design
I taste the size and looks of this little fan. The bad part is that it is difficult to turn of and on. You have to pick the thing up and balance the bottom and terminate a wheel which is hard to access. Would not buy another one.

Perfected for the office
I predominantly have it on Low, which is virtually noiseless. Even the High setting cannot be heard at the next desk. It provides a cooling draught without disturbing any paper on my desk. My only complaint is that it is so lightweight, I can't use the controls one-handed, as the fan tends to move before the strike does. Will be putting it on a small mat, and I expect this to solve the problem.

This product has a small footprint (paragon for a crowded desk) and it stays in the position I want, instead of gradually pointing sliding as my last fan did.

Fan works Brobdingnagian, does as promised - even looks good
I wanted a cheap relatively inexpensive fan to replace the Staples bought typical 6-inch plastic knife fan that didn't work well.

The Flippi is just fine. I'm immediately much more comfortable. The noise open is non-existent on low, and not a problem on high. The product design is novel with a certain cool ingredient. I have no problems turning it on/off with one finger. Will consider the larger model the next time I need one.

Not so gresat
The Vornado V6 Flippi Fan has much less power than I fitting. It is hard to turn on & off. That requires 2 hands, which is NOT what I wanted for a bedside fan for middle of the night hot flashes. Its OK for day period, very close-up fanning. Quite over priced for the performance.

formidable fan!
i typically keep my branch door shut to be more productive during the day. door shut = stuffy, hot office. i needed a fan hysterically. i tried two different fans i already had but they didn't work out - one was too beat up and ugly and the other was too big. they were both too loud.

i looked around, look over some reviews and decided to order a vornado. it sounds like the brand has a good name, and the fan itself is really cold-hearted looking. i actually ordered the zippi fan (with the cloth arms), but received the flippi as an alternative! i was a little distressed because i had read that the flippi wasn't a good product, made too much noise, etc. well, those reviews are Evil. it is a great fan and i'm glad i got it instead.

i have the fan on low right now, about two feet away, and it is 100% silent and doing it's job. i prefer a nice, cool breeze. i just turned it to high and it is not too loud for my office use (if you were in a cube it might be) and the air achieve is really incredible for such a small machine. my question to these other reviewers is how much air do you want blowing on you at one every now and why is $25.00 an unreasonable price point for a fan?

it is a little awkward to turn on and off, and requires two hands. also, the on/off dial on the undignified is plastic and feels a little bit flimsy. this is why i'm giving it 4 stars. but who knows? it could last forever. we will solely have to see.

honestly, for the cool factor of its design, the color choices and its performance, i don't think you can pommel it. i would buy another one for sure.
