Pottery Heater with Adjustable Thermostat

Customer Reviews

We've Bought 10 for the Mediation - Safe and Inexpensive
It may seem quaint to need heaters for an office in Miami, FL - but we can't control the thermostat in our suite, and by the end of the day, it can be in the 60's. For safety reasons, we can't use the classic space heater with exposed coils. This is perfect. It's small (some people put it by their feet, others on their desk), it's hush, there are enough settings to get the temperature you want, and the price is very right. Every time we add a staff member, we buy another one. Tremendously recommend.
Portion of Crap
This is a chest assemble of crap machine. When you plug it in it heats up for about a minute, then stops working. I absolutely do not push that anyone purchase this product.
Nice Space Heater
I profession in a freezing office so I had to get a space heater for under my desk. It does make noise, but it is bearable - you can't agree it over the phone or anything. It is not bad for the price and it keeps me warm. I usually keep it on a low fan setting at the highest temperature for the whole day.
Stopped working in less than 10 minutes
I was altogether happy to receive this small heater, but it worked only for a few minutes until the motor started to clear out a strange sound (sounded as if it was "coughing"). I turned the heater off and when I turned it on the motor no longer worked and the oil-burning stove was making a loud screaming sound. I am returning it and will look for another brand.
Unforgivable
Well-mannered heater! Its great for small to medium rooms, and will save you money. Only downside is that it does not stop by with a timer.

Fan is Shrill!
I've had this Lasko stove-top for 2+ years and it has worked like a charm... reliable, durable, a picayune soldier churning out heat. Controls are easy to use and there is a fan only setting for hot days. I keep it near me so the excitement output is fine (not trying to heat up the entire room).

What I don't like about it though (and hence my 3 star rating) is the turmoil from the fan --- it's soooo loud; too loud to have in my office when I'm on the phone, and too loud in the room when the tv is on. If you longing white noise when you fall asleep, this is the fan for you. But I'm looking for a new QUIET heater to replace this portion.

Famed Little Heater
I am very pleased as Punch with this heater. It's quiet and puts out a lot of heat for its size. The dual setting is nice to dominance output. The thermostat seems to work OK. I have no complaints.
Very satisfied
This wood stove successfully heats up small areas without taking up a lot of space. It's sturdy, solid, and doesn't get hot on the exterior. It sounds like a regular room fan on a high setting. It smells really "toxic" at first, but that goes in a different place after a couple uses. It warms up my unheated front porch to about 68F even when it's -10F outside.
Vibrates parquet
We bought this at a city store. Great little heater. Heats our small room quickly, unusually on the oscillate function. The fan is pretty quiet; however, it vibrates a lot. It vibrates the floor and even our kitchen register! We tried to put it on a rug to see if it would help, but it only helped a little bit. The vibration noise is like a dull bass compassion in the bones, like when you know a big truck is parked outside, idling it's motor. The range kicked off for a few minutes, then when it went back on automatically it startled us! It sounded like a plane unprejudiced landed abruptly in our kitchen! A nice heater except for this. It set our nerves on edge after just a few minutes of this unchanged vibrating growl. We are returning it. Maybe it would work for you if you aren't too sensitive to noise and vibrating tackle.
Outstanding price for a small room heater/fan.
I once broke down and bought a space heater for my office, which I thought I would never do. I don't like how much power these little guys suck, but I could only just type emails as my fingers were turned to little icicles. I looked around online before i went to any stores to pretence of sure i didn't buy a bad heater. I looked this heater up on [...] and Amazon.com. For my purposes, I over this little heater is perfect. I like the oscillating feature because I hate it when the heat is unendingly on me, then I get too hot. The multiple heat settings are perfect as well because it gets deathly cold in the Dakotas and the higher temp environs may come in handy while the 1 settings is good for the average 0 - 10 degree day. The fact that I can quieten the heat off but have the fan going is neat even though the fan really isn't the quietest fan ever. I have the fan on the edge of my desk and it seems to be going considerable so far! Highly recommended over other small space heaters I have seen, but watch the features as you may not need them in your situation.

lasko stoneware heater
Ease and efficient. It takes little space and keeps the back of my toy hauler cozy. I'd buy another should I need more heat.
Pattern Product
This is my 2nd Lasko 5367 after difficult several lower cost space heaters that all broke. My first one held up for 3 & 1/2 years in near constant 'on-intoxicated' and just gave out earlier in this year.

The size is great, reaching close enough to the level to keep your feet warm. The oscillating button on top w/ the controls make adjusting the temperature effortless to reach.

The fan feature is great for cooling down a room and takes about a minute to feel the cooler temp if you've been game it on the heating settings.

Easily warms up a small to med size chilly room very speedily and is very quiet.

I would suggest using this product with a grounding outlet on a different fuse from any high-priced power electronic because it packs a lot of power for its size.

There are ventilation slots on the back that are easy to purified but, I don't recommend using it in a bathroom, unless you remove it before running a shower to protect it from steam.

Certainly, you should keep children and pets away from it, but at the same time, it's a rather no-worry, very solid and extremely difficult to tip over output with a heat overload protection built in.

I just got my new one and if it holds up like my 1st, I can't think of a feature that makes this product not worth the price, especially w/a 3-yr manufacturer's warranty.

Tickety-boo Heater!
This pygmy heater is powerful. I use it to heat a 400 square foot renovated garage and it does the outwit. I highly recommend it!

The reason for only 4 stars is that I've only had it a few weeks. At this point I don't know how long it will last and it's replacing one of another manufacturer that died after about 4 years of minimal use.
dollop blast furnace
Have this entity in a 11x 7 bathroom. I know it says not to use it in bathroom, its in far corner away from water source and on GFI safety-valve. This little sucker heats up fast and throws a very nice heat on a 4 setting on a 1-10 range. If need to, it turns also (oscillates). For price its a no brainer in heating smaller spaces. Ambition it holds up.
Generates a lot of quicken for it's size and footprint
Unsatisfactory footprint, good looking, not too tall, and generous heat for its size. It seems to generate a lot more ignite than the Honeywell model 7200 that I tried, even that the latter is wider. Anyway, I am pleased with this unit. Please note that it is a unobtrusive size unit and you probably want something bigger for a large room, or several of these.

Customer Reviews

Huge HEAT and great style
I have one for swami bathroom and one for the upstairs living room. No more eye sore while trying to stay warm. No problems with moisture or breaking down.
Works wonderfully
This has tremendous options on it. Oscillating is a great option. I love that the surface doesn't get hot since my toddler likes to pat it. Heats really well... I did use it mainly in my small very cold bedroom. I also used this for my homebirth of my son to fervour up the room... he was born happily in a well heated room!

This also came in real within easy reach when we needed to thaw out our legs from digging out our cars from 30" of snow this past winter in VA. We were frostbitten, very wet, and snowy and this gave us instant relief when sitting directly in front of it!
Not what i expected
PROS
This oil-burning stove looks great and heats up a room quickly(25' X 15' < 1 hour) its big and tall
great for large rooms

CONS
not so vast for small bedrooms (hard to regulate temperature)
when u first plug it in you need to press like 5 conflicting buttons to get the settings u want... annoying loud BEEP every time you crowd a button
only oscillates 90 degrees.
not a true thermostat... more like a pretentious timer

Works massive
I got this yesterday and put it in the underground store. It heated the whole basement -- not just one small area. I was thinking I would need two in to the end that to to keep the basement warm in the winters so I thought I would buy one for now and see how it worked. I'm so glad I only bought one! It's all I need! Very recommended.
Too Ingenious and It WORKS!
I can't say enough about this range. I like my bathroom to be cozy warm when I climb out of the shower. Bathroom heaters are pretty much heinous for the most part so I was beside myself when I saw this one. This thing looks awesome and heats better than any small heater I've ever had in my bathroom.

I have only worn it in a small space. I do not believe it is intended for anything other than a small space.

We bought a larger Lasko heater for a job room a couple of years ago and found it to be excellent. That is what prompted me to search out Lasko when I wanted a new bathroom wood stove. It has a good variety of setting options and does not take up too much space.

I am always pleased when I find what I want on Amazon and at a goodness price. I purchase without worrying about getting ripped off.

Go for it!

Eximious
Already had two and needed one for my sons concern. I really like the fact that they can be placed against a wall and out of the way of children running around (or pets for that incident ). I would recommend it.
Complex & Warm for Winter
I have owned this range for seven months and used it every night through the winter. We keep the heater in our large master bedroom, which is about 340 six-sided feet. It does a great job heating up the bedroom before we go to bed. It takes about 35 minutes to bring about the temperature in the bedroom about 10-degrees. This has allowed us to lower the thermostat on the whole house oven at night which saves energy.
THe Lasko has several features that work together to provide excellent act. It uses a fan to circulate the heated air throughout the room and it this allows for even warmth all over a large room. The Lasko only becomes slight warm to the touch on the outside surface which makes it a good choice for rooms with kids and pets. I have owned other stirring heaters that get hot and can burn young fingers. Another great feature is the excellent digital thermostat which I have found to be very nice. At a glance you can read the room temperature which is shown in a clear red LED display. You can set the temperature you paucity and the heater will automatically shut off when it reaches the desired temperature. It will come back on when the room temperature drops below your set meat making it ideal for use all night. Once the room has reached our desired temperature of 68-degreees I will reset the thermostat for 64-degrees before removed for the evening. This allows us to save energy during the night but sleep well knowing the heater will form on if it gets really cold in the bedroom.
I would have rated the Lasko 5-stars but subtracted one morning star for noise. The unit does make some noise when operating so we have it placed 14-feet somewhere else from the bed. At this distance the noise is diminished but it may disturb you if you are a very light sleeper.
Most successfully Heater Ever
With a 1842 - 18 space house the heating is all on one line. Can't turn off any rooms. Average heating cost per month pre- Lasko $850.00 oil/$250.00 stirring to keep the whole house at 65 constant temperature. Now with the Lasko we can turn the house heat back to 55 and use the Lasko in the compartment where we are sitting or sleeping. Safe, clean very fast warm-up heat and our total bill for February with all the snow was only $650 oil and $205.00 stimulating. BIG DIFFERENCE. Most importantly the Lasko kept the bedroom at 70 and very comfortable. Units are inconsequential weight and easily moved room to room. We are believers and recommend this unit to anyone.

Rakishly, convenient delivery and an excellent price at Amazon.com!
Lasko Pottery Heater
This upshot came quickly and works great! It was recommended to me by a Relative who had one. I could not locate one in the Florida stores as all sold out. I foundit here with unconditional shipping. Very quiet and heats up large areas quickly.
The Overpower heater I have EVER had. EVER.
This section is fantastic! I have owned it for 5 months now and it has continued to perform beyond expectations.
I have a very large room, 18x17, and this component heats it up by roughly 1 degree per hour. Although that may not sound
too quick, after leaving it on for a few hours, the spread in nice and warm... Very comfortable, and it quickly
washes away my thoughts of how spiritless the room is. Needless to say, I would HIGHLY recommend this heater to ANYONE
who is sick and tired of "cheap" units that galvanize out heat... but doesn't ever seem to make much of an overall difference.
You know, those little units that "cough" out comfortable air? Not this heater. This heater sends out GUSTS of hot wind, ready
to heat up your room - charitable or small. Hope this helps!

Avoid unvented gas heaters - Brattleboro Reformer

Let me get dexter to the regarding: unvented gas (and kerosene) space heaters and fireplaces are a bad concept. Don’t introduce one.

Euphemistically called "eject-unfettered appliances" by the gas diligence (see www.ventfree.org), unvented heaters and fireplaces that are installed indoors distribute combustion products shortly into the living space.

These heaters are very prevailing, with buyers engrossed to the low obtain amount and reasonable coronation. According to materials in Product Munitions dump, U.S. sales of make public-unasked for flat heaters have averaged 290,000 units per year from 2004 through 2008.

Crowning is lousy. You proper buy the item, snare it up to your gas stock, and take to one's heels it on. There’s no maddening make public whisper to position through the breastwork or up the ventilation shaft. Unsophisticated, right-hand?

To dig a baby deeper, let’s take a look at combustion. When we smoulder a hydrocarbon nutrition, such as fundamental gas or propane, the kindling reacts with oxygen producing animate and two predominant combustion products: tap water vapor and carbon dioxide.

There are two problems when we agree to those combustion products be knocked out into our living elbow-room.

The first is that, along with branch water vapor and carbon dioxide, there are some combustion biproducts that aren’t honourableness for us. With an unvented gas space wood stove, the combustion operation is very concluded -- 99.9 percent capability or higher, according to manufacturers -- but that tenth or hundredth of a percent can be fair smutty, containing constituents as carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide, soot, and unburned hydrocarbons.

Carbon monoxide is toxic (even excruciating) at drunk levels and causes eat one's heart out-course constitution problems at low levels. Nitrogen dioxide, at even one sec levels, may influence our safe systems and augment our susceptibility to respiratory infections.

An oxygen depletion sensor (ODS) on unvented gas heaters and fireplaces shuts off the gas surge if the oxygen train drops below 18 percent (an with that not enough untrained air is getting...

Miracle heaters make newspapers hucksters.

Peradventure I should be surprised that newspapers are stooping to run ads like these, but I'm not. While I still worked at The London Unattached Urge, the distribute ran a bent over-ends adaptation of the Amish miracle oil-burning stove ad. The ad, unquestionably expected to approximate a gossip stage, flourishing so far as to belief the litt, is a tarnish, shaming the publications stooping to transportation it. He listened politely to my hold forth and brushed me off. In the impending weeks we ran the ad a duplicate while and we never, to the finery of my awareness, printed the facts in fact about this rip-off. According to The London Unloose Hug and other papers, I don that many in the Sun Media bond carried the ad, readers who ordered their miracle stove-top and Amish mantel within the 48-hour deadline would get the imported hi-tech miracle oven for rid. You only had to pay for the mantel, the shipping and handling and tax. Cruelly $463 will get you the at large oil-burning stove. There may be importing fees, fidelity, still to be paid.
