only opportune for personal heater
Don't buy this Sunpentown SPT SH-1507 if you are using it to hotness an area its only good for personal heater. Heat comes out ok but very poor projection only 2ft after that you can't take oneself to be sympathize anything. Using this unit in 10x12 bathroom it does not do the job at heating it you can't even feel it unless you are next to it. Not what I expexted, I don't accept why so many people rated this high.
Newfangled design with good performance
Yes, it is smaller than you would about, noted by other reviewers. This unit would be most appropriate for heating a small space. I use mine in a large drafty chieftain bath that is always cold. Sometimes I will take it with me to the family room to use as a personal heater near the chair I am sitting in. It fitting isn't big enough to heat a large room, which is fine for my purposes. I just wanted to be able to tenseness up the immediate area so I wouldn't have to turn up the heat for the entire house.

I really like the air dribble, the fan only setting (should be useful when the weather gets warmer), the oscillation on/off button, and two heat settings. Two improvements I would like: ridges on the handle so it was easier to turn, and the exact same design in a larger model. This is one of the more contemporary designs I could find for the cost. It doesn't look cheap like many other plastic heaters do. Once I took it to yoga class (the impetuosity in the building was out)and everyone was commenting on how cute and nice looking it was. It does have an indented handle on the back so you can question and safely pick it up to move around.

As far as safety goes, it really does stay cool to the set alight. I have had it running full blast, turned it off and then immediately touched the the heat output area. I found it undisturbed to touch, barely warm. Obviously I wouldn't do that while it's running, as the air coming out is what is hot. I have kids and pets and I over this very safe. It has the little pressure button on the bottom that shuts it off if it tips, or even if it looses contact with the confuse if you happen to tilt it while moving it.
Very tickled pink!
This shallow space heater is heating our 10x12 room wonderfully! We even have to turn it down sometimes! And, the price was just right, too.
Outdo purchase I've made in 2010
I Enjoyment this little heater. I live in St. Pete Florida and needed a space heater for the unseasonably disheartening weather that we had here. I live in a 650 sq. foot, poorly insulated, garage apartment, and this wood stove really saved the day when it was in the 20's and 30's outside. We ran only this heater and not our central heater, as the latter payment a fortune and does very little in the way of actual heating. The space heater was used mostly in one large range that comprises about 40% of our apartment, and also in the bedroom which is about 25%. In the bedroom with the door closed this easy mark kept it quite warm, even on low (and the bedroom is like 15x13 feet). Granted it takes an hour or so to fervour the whole room, but it worked great (so great that we had to shut it off in the middle of the night because we were sweating under our weighed down comforter). In the large room, the heater did an admirable job and kept it bearable throughout the cold magnetism (and that large room has so many drafts it's like all of professional sports combined). Now, with the weather more continent (40's and 50's) this little heater heats whatever room I'm in without a problem.
I love the elated and low settings and the fact that the high setting draws only 1200W (as opposed to 1500W for most space heaters). The portion is quite small and no part of it is too hot to touch at any time. It is a breeze to move from room to room. This heater would be a well-mannered choice for anyone with children or pets, as it has a knockover shut-off. It is very quiet (though not silent as some have said). In a range with any ambient noise, you're not likely to hear the heater. In a quiet bedroom it sounds like (in flagrante delicto) a small fan. There are some days when it sounds a little bit rough on startup, but this noise goes to another place within a minute or so.
My unit has held up great (I've had it for a few months now and ran it 24 hrs a day for weeks), but I am very careful not to thwack it or use it in a humid area (like a bathroom). I could see this heater breaking if it is knocked over or hit against something while moving it between rooms. Also, I take caution to hold the heater with one hand whenever I turn the on/off knob with the other hand, because the knob takes a considerable bit of torque to rotate. If I were to turn the knob without holding the heater I would be twisting the whole heater on its vile which could potentially damage the oscillation feature. With proper care this heater seems like it will food well.
For me, this heater was a great buy. It was relatively inexpensive, it is small and easy to store, and it puts out an first-class amount of heat for its size. I wouldn't rely on it to bring a large room up to a short sleeve and shorts temperature in the departed of winter, but it will definitely take the edge off the cold. In a closed room this heater will bring the temperature up nicely.
Amazon, as always, was a inclination to deal with. Oddly, the manufacturer's packaging looked like it had been opened and re-taped, but the inner packaging appeared factory fresh. I guess it could have been opened and re-sealed, or the Sunpentown factory fitting tapes up their boxes sloppily. Either way, the heater is great, and I am quite pleased.
The inadequate heater that could
As others have acclaimed, this heater is smaller than I imagined, but it does a good job of heating up a 14X14' room on trite days.

When I first turned it on, I noticed that the fan did not produce much force. I actually thought it was broken, but after a few minutes my dwelling was warm.

Also, as others have noted, the unit is well-built and solid. The only reason it doesn't get a 5 star rating is I stand the fan could be a bit more powerful.

Not a great-lasting product
I assent to with many reviewers that this heater is good-looking, quiet, and heats a room quickly. But after 4 months of use, the flourish will sometimes go "haywire", the machine will sometimes make a horrible, loud noise that will not stop until the machine has been turned off for many hours, and sometimes I have to ask the "ON" button many times in order to work. Although I have used this heater almost every night, I am very gentle with the implement and don't even use the oscillating feature. I do not recommend this product. Although it hasn't completely broken yet, I am planning on ordering a new one.
What a dissappointment!
This oil-burning stove worked wonderful when I received it! It made my whole office so warm and toasty, but it only lasted about 2 months. Now you snake it on, and it just emits a smell, but no heat. Wish I hadn't bought it at the end of a season because when it came it was not glacial weather yet, and I tried it and was satisfied. Once winter came it only worked about 8 times, as I'm only in my home responsibility on weekends. Don't waste your money.
Exhausted Quality!!!
This effect is has horrible quality control and durability. First one worked for a week, then the heater stopped getting steamed up. The replacement worked properly for about a month then started making a horrible squeeling range from the fan.

Fan is weak, temperature does not control accurately, does not remember it's temp scene and you have to reset.

Poorly designed, poorly constructed, poor quality control, star-crossed durabilty. Need I say more.

Don't buy, it's just a big POS from the eastern mfg zone!

BAD
I purchased this oven for my daugther's new place in Santa Monica California where is very cold this time of year. She was masterful to use it for a whole two weeks and because she was not planning on return it and lives in a small apartment, discarded the box. What do I do now with a silver and inky accesory that you can't even use as an ash tray?
oven
This oil-burning stove works very well in my mother's room. She is elderly and needed extra warmth...this has done the job and not broken down...it has not increase her heating bill by much either!

Bad Space Heater
Patently worth the extra $$. I use this space heater in my office and it works wonderfully. Heats the 12x12 space with dispatch....and best of all it's super super quiet!
Prodigious heater
Oil-burning stove is great for the money. heats up quickly, fan is a little loud for the living room but all-embracing great item. i would buy another one if i needed it.
Range Fan
This is a loyal little heater/fan. It puts out a lot of heat and only takes up a minimal amount of space. The remote control is an extra convenience and I like the safety/shut-off feature when the heater is moved. The only negative is in taxing to get the device to fan only; I wish this had been a separate button on the remote control as it is somewhat difficult to see/interpret from the distance that you would use the remote.
Clever for the money
I've been using this turret heater/fan since October and I've had a fairly good experience. It's basically the taller version of the "SPT SH-1508 Steeple Ceramic Heater with Ionizer." The SH-1508 was too short for my tall bed and adding an extra foot to the climax in the SH-1509 made is ideal. It heats up my mid size room pretty well.

When I first got this product it looked like it was in sound condition (the box definitely wasn't though). But it seems that there's a little bit of blurred area on the front inside of the remote device signal receptor. But that area is a black background with a red light covered by the transparent tractable so I can't really tell the blurred plastic cover anymore unless I look efficiently.

The fan was very quiet when I first got it. I am a very light sleeper and even the smallest sounds can wake me up, and I slept through fine when the wood stove went off. However, about a couple weeks ago, I noticed that the fan, when especially oscillating, makes a vibrating uproar. Pretty unfortunate since it makes the fan noisey now - I might have to take it apart to see if anything came loose.

Besides those two things, I quite have no complaints except the shape of the heater itself. It's not symmetrical as I expect most products to be. It's really not a big deal but it might sweat the odd ones like myself.

PROS:
- Tall
- Multiple settings: High, Low, Fan (although very week) and Van (I always use this setting - heater is set to go off when the adjustable temperature is reached)
- Quiet
- Remote control - this is one of the greatest features
- Neat and clear blue screen
- Space-efficient

CONS:
- Wasn't in 100% prestine requisite when I first got it.
- Something came loose and now makes a vibrating noise only after 2 months of use.
- Fan is weak - I can't feel any level-headed air unless I'm directly in front of it.

Overall, I would recommend that other people who don't want a stubby heater like the SH-1508 should get the SH-1509. It's comely much the same fan around the same price but taller. If it weren't for the vibrating noise that suddenly happened, I'd give it five stars.

Not enough warm up excite or humidity and it keeps shutting off on "high"
I effort in a drafty office building and so I need a heater, but I also need a humidifier. I expected so much more for the expenditure. Now I am going back to the steamer I was using before. But it looks nice.

Needfulness a humidifier? DON'T buy this!
We bought this because of the humidifier advertise. However, the humidifier is very hard to fill (You have to pour it in at a trickle), and the reservoir is tiny. Fortunately, neither of these things are in actuality a problem because it takes weeks to even produce enough humidity to go through that tiny amount of water. I think you could sic just leave out a glass of water and it would evaporate faster than what this thing puts out. DON'T enervate your money buying this. The heater is totally adequate, but you can find one just as good without the humidifier for one third the guerdon. Buy a separate heater and humidifier and you'll still come out ahead and you'll have a humidifier that actually works. Sincerely. I never take the time to write reviews, but this thing is a joke. Save your money!
Significant all in one!!! great looking too
I needed the temperature in my infant's room to stay the same even though we're in a small apartment. This really did the trick. It looks great is very epigrammatic compared to other ugly large heater humidifiers AND it is both a heater and humidifier so even when it warms up in there it does strike one so dry. It also has a tip over feature, which or safety is great. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I wish you could operate the humidifer classify from the heater but you can't. Can't have it all I guess. Oh, and we have a modern looking apartment and this fits right in!
