Still a prominent buy....
We purchased one of these heaters at least 6 years ago and have loved it. We put ours over an opening in our large bathroom and it has added extra heat there reliably in all seasons except high summer. I was thrilled to see that it was still being made and ordered three more...two for the bathrooms in our new blood and one as a gift for my mother-in-law who loves the quiet, warm convenience of it in her bathroom. The difference is that there are less speeds on the newer ones but since we did not use them all I conjecture it is no big deal. It is so nice to have a heater safely and easily installed on the wall.

good amount of heat
The waken works well. Warms the bathroom nicely. I just wish the cord was a little longer to authorize more flexibility in room placement but the unit functions quite well.

Attentive but cheesy
This is a tremendous little heater........It warms nice.
The biggest problem is the 2nd rate cheesy way of mounting this oil-burning stove.
Being this is my 2nd purchase, I have learned to mount the bracket with screws.........Forget that plugin and snake crap.

defective design but worth the purchase
Meant AND constructed in Canada, where they understand the need for staying warm! The design is brilliant but faulty by the assumption that all proper grounded bathroom 2-plug outlets will fit within their wall-mount box; the touchstone boxes our electricians installed a few months ago are too big, making it impossible to plug the unit in if you dig their instructions. However, good bathroom heaters are hard to find and it's easy to work around this (and other criticisms of this item): 1. Using the holes indicated on the be ruined-mount box, screw it into your bathroom wall anywhere within about 3-5 inches above your bathroom outlet (examination in advance to be sure the short cord will still reach the outlet). We use 1.5 inch wood screws and develop to know that the wiring doesn't go above our outlet but you might want to adjust location depending on where your wires are in the mad. 2. Don't bother with the "dummy" plastic 3-hole piece they include; that's just to enjoin you from accidentally overloading the outlet by using another device when the heater is on. If you need to remind yourself, it might effort as a stand-alone dummy plug, or you could cap off the second outlet, or just remember and use common feel something in one's bones.
3. Now just hook the heater onto the wall-mount box. It's quite secure unless you're mug with it. But if you're worried about accidentally knocking it off the box, it is possible to thread a wire or large paper punch between the plastic grill and the mount box (common sense again: do this when everything is unplugged and try to be sure the wire doesn't hint anything inside the heater; and use metal, not anything that's flammable!). The above took about 10 minutes. That's for our bathroom fan; we bought two. The impaired one works fine in our unheated kitchen, follow the same instructions for screwing wall-mount into the fortification wherever you want it, or even can safely stand on its side inside a metal box with some air space at the back in a location where it can't possibly get knocked over. We are the fussy types so we simply use a heavy duty (14 gauge or larger--meaning 13-12--and guaranteed to feel 1875 watts: NOT a flimsy or ordinary) extension cord to reach the nearest elbow grounded plug (again, don't share the plug with other devices when the heater is on). Again, this is 10 minutes industry. Result is a beautiful, small, attractive, affordable little heater that is safe, silence, and Canadian-quality toasty!

The kindest solution
Looking around for heaters as a deciphering, I bought several and so far this is the best solution as you can install several and use them at the same time without having problem with the power breaks. if it's a routine room it would just do the work, but others are right, the power cable it's way too short.

Store?
It heats and installs unbiased fine. However, I bought for the bathroom because it says has an outlet. The outlet is not a typical 2 prong sympathetic, rather something that looks like a headphone outlet. Sorry I don't know electrical terminology. Anyway, you can't publicity anything into it as described. Waist of money.

Serves the determination
I purchased it to irascible the room in conjunction with my Air Tub. Before the room air cooled the water, but now the air remains warm and so does the not wash lavishly. I found no problem with stability, but I took one of the previous reviews seriously and followed the instructions with intent. It does not vibrate, and the only sound it makes is as any small circulating fan.

Puts out animate, but flimsy
Recently bought this space oven after researching the "patented" heating process. I had planned to buy the larger model, but this one was in stock. It is minor and lightweight--too lightweight for safety considerations, as it is very easy to tip over. The base is smaller than the rest of the part, which makes it even more unstable. When it does tip over, the shutoff feature only works if it falls forward. If it falls backward, it fair keeps on running. (I tried it several times, just to make sure it was not a happy accident.) It does put out a lot of heat for a small unit, but I could not see any difference between this heater's supposedly preferred heating design and similar space heaters. It might be useful under a desk or a small bathroom, if you were not worried about tipping it over and you bought it for less than $35.
