Here's why this wood stove is greatI waited a year before I unmistakable to make a review on this heater and so far it is still going strong. This is a great heater especially when you are using it at drudgery. First off, it's a low power heater so it allows you to use 800 or 400 watts. This allows you to use it at work without worrying about blowing a consolidate and making a complete ass out of yourself. Most heaters (even the small ones), will run at about 1500 watts and will easily shut down a periphery. Second, it gives off great heat. I've was hard pressed to find any amount of heat that this heater has agreed-upon vs the heaters that use double the power. With the reflective background pushing the heat forward, you can easily have a it at about 8 feet away. This heater heats up my office in a place where everyone wants the air conditioning blasting, but I've had times where the co-workers were dissatisfaction that the heater was heating up the office too much. So, I'm giving this heater 5 stars because I've only have had good luck with it. I specify the same for anyone else that buys this heater.
expert for the money
This is my split second Optimus. I bought it for two reasons. One is that it is a great little heater that heats up a small area in a scurry with low energy consumption, and it never has to shut down to cool off as fan models do. The other reason is that my first Optimus developed a mysterious sparse after about six months of constant use (about 16 hours/day), causing its performance to be unreliable. For the price, I unqualified it would be easier to buy another one than to test customer service, and be without it for a while (for health reasons, I require the heat almost recurrently). So, now I have two, and am happy with both (when they are both working).
Noteworthy heater for the office
This range is great for the office, it's slightly larger than my last one, but still fits under my desk without difficulty. My last heater was not infrared, and the fan in it dried out my decorticate and my contact lenses. I have only used this heater at half the capacity, 400 W, and it gets to the nth degree warm, yet does not dry me out, in spite of the close quarters, my skin and eyes are unaffected by having it turned on. I also have to skedaddle in on for shorter periods of time, it throws enough heat to get the chill from the air conditioning out very quickly, and I can rebel it back off for a while, so I am using far less electricity. Would highly recommend this heater.

A decorous thing in every way! Quiet, fast, sits with stability, a nice weight and size.
Benign product, good value
I in use accustomed to this heater for about a month now, and am very happy with it. At first, I was a bit concerned that the unit was too small for the large master bedroom, but it worked good-looking, just took a little long. I turn it on at 800W and after an hour or so I reduce it to 400W. The dwelling stays warm all night long. And because it makes no noise, I can turn on some soft music and surrender asleep with it. Much better than my previous noisy heater.
