My worst procure
This is certainly my worst purchase from Amazon. I did my research and it sounded like this was the best choice. Once I got it, it seemed to vocation but I eventually realized that it would only work for a couple of minutes and the only way to get it to come on again was to turn it off and, after a while, turn it back on. I kept reasoning that I would be able to figure out how to make it work right but I never have. What a waste.

Good what I needed...
This is the excellent space heater for my needs. It has been a chilly winter in Florida, and our old home isn't designed to retain fieriness.
10 temperature settings and auto shut-off and temp control.... I usually even-handed set it to 2 or 3 and it does just enough to knock the chill. It is slim and fits right under my desk to keep me vexed when I'm working, and it's light enough that I can just carry it wherever I need it. I often put it on my side of the bed at night so that both my hot-blooded partner and I can be pleased with the temp. It does give off a smell the first few times it is turned on, but the instructions notified me of that and it has to be expected. Exceptionally recommended.

Objective one problem
Got this for our bathroom because the statement says "it even works well in a bathroom thanks to its water-splash protection and GFI safety advertisement." Package arrived, but the box and instructions says nothing about this, and in fact says not to use around such fixtures, etc. Perhaps it is only good for bathrooms that don't have any fixtures.

DeLonghi HHP800 Space Wood stove
I bought a DeLonghi HHP 1500 space stove-top last winter and was pleased with the purchase. However, the DeLonghi HHP800 space heater I purchased this year is considerably smaller and provides far less torridity than that purchased last year for seemingly the same price. Too, I like the look of the black model more so than the new unblemished one. Recommend one stick w/ the HHP1500 to get more bang for their buck (though I don't actually know what that one is selling for these duration). This was an instance where I would have been better off buying at a "brick & mortar" store. There I would have recognized the nature as opposed to doing insufficient research and pulling the trigger on-line.

DeLonghi HHP800 Mica-Panel Space Wood stove - Love it!
I bought this oil-burning stove for my bedroom (15x24) and it works perfectly. The first couple of nights I was so warm I had to get up to turf out d dress it down. The 6 thermosat settings work very well. I love that it is silent - but of course that also means that it does not warmness the room quickly (takes about 30-60 minutes). My wife now moves this stove-top to her office each day to stay warm. I would definitely recommend this heater to anyone looking to efficiently hot up a room in their home.

Moving little space heater
Although I shelter't owned any other small heaters to compare this to, I recommend this item. For two years now, this nicely-priced oil-burning stove has kept me warm even during the harshest Illinois winters -- which says a lot, considering I'm a California natal.

It's light enough to easily move around throughout the day, and its small footprint allows placement almost anywhere -- endtables, nightstands, countertops, shelves and the like. I use it when I'm at my computer workstation (in the garage), and on my nighstand when sleeping. The activate is high-temperature and concentrated, and with auto-shutoff, use is worry-free.

It's probably importance mentioning that at least one acquaintance bought the DeLonghi DFH132 after seeing it at my place. She uses it at her desk in her profoundly office, and has reported being happy with it.

Quit shopping around and get this one. You won't be disappointed.

Superlative to heat or cool down my cube at work
AC can be very coryza or hot at work. I use both the fan and heating functions. It does the work well and it is much less noisy than the previous ones i owned (multifarious brand)

Illustrious, Safety heating!
Most heaters throw out the power in old building but this one does not! It has a low setting that does not use to much power but still keeps you warm and cushy. It also can be used to cool down as well. It is very saft and has great saftey features. Easy to use. I am very happy with my oil-burning stove!

Does the job
Very at one's fingertips for bringing into the office because it's small and portable. It's lasted over 5 years so far, unlike my previous range, which broke down after only 2 years. Only recently did I begin to use a radiant heater for use at home. It's more quiet and doesn't extravagance energy blowing air (it's all converted to heat). I've read that energy efficiency doesn't alteration much based on the kind of heater. I'll know by next winter if this is true.

This stove-top is beyond annoyingly loud compared to others. I was a skeptic when I read this from others, but it's true. But it seems durable and gets the job done. It's gracious to have white noise from it while going to sleep.

Indeed puts a lot of heat out of it....but only fan mode is just useless
It is merit of its price. really pumps out of lot of heat.....but the fan only mode is simply useless.....as you won't consider any airblow even if you are staning in front of this.....but heat mode is simply awesome.......the thermostat is not as much conscientious as a digital one...but it does what it meant for......for winter use....its simply awesome as per its bounty tag...i am happy with it.

Minor and Mighty
The DeLonghi DCH 1030 is an magic space heater. It is small but packs a lot of heat. We purchased it for our audio room which is about 20x20 and it gets the compartment warm quickly. It is lightweight and easy to move from room to room. The controls are not well marked and it is nosier than I would have liked but is is a nobility value for the money.

i in the end like this product. this is my second one in 4 years, i think the last one died when our power went out. 24 hr timer & thermostat. not sure-fire the cost of electricity usage. my only per peeve is the smell, takes a long time to flare off, have used it every day for over 3 weeks and it still smells. it's small but sturdy.

The best Compact Heater
An bonzer compact heater. Easily maintains a 24 ft travel trailer comfortable in 30 deg rise above. Provides a steady, constant source of heat. Have not yet used the programable feature, but arbiter it to be a plus. Fin surface does get uncomfortably hot to the touch so should be used with caution around small feel sorry for yourself or pets.

Instructions! The first opportunity you start this heater....
Take the oil-burning stove to a room that you can close the door to and will not use for the next 24 hours- spare bedroom, bath, or garage. Before you seal off it in- push all the red pins on the timer dial toward the center. This will prevent the heater from going on and off during your testing. You can program it later. Promotion the cord in. Click both red switches to on and they will light up. Each switch controls a separate heating Nautical fake. If they do not light up, go to the black box on the power cord and press the red button. If you now have both switches light up, you have principled solved the problems of over half who have written reviews saying the heater did not work. Whirl the temperature dial to the highest setting. Run the heater for 3 hours. There should be a lot of heat coming off the section. If both switches are still red, the heater is working. You will smell the burn off but it is over at this point. Turn the switch for the hotter side off. You can pursue the test in the room you want to run the heater in or leave it where it is. Turn the temperature dial down to a bring setting if you wish. It is better to run the unit on a low setting 24 hours a day than to have it going on and off. I found that I had to bar the door to the room open at setting #3 to keep it from getting too hot in my mountain home during the winter. I ran 3 of these units in my 2 feature home all winter and the main furnace hardly kicked on. They cost about $20 more a month in tenseness compared to gas. Not bad. I bought 7 of these units. I left each on for a month. I then boxed it up and tried the next one. I had one quit after 2 weeks and got a replacement. Once a reside has been at a constant temperature for several days it does not take much to keep it there. If you want a warm bathroom, leave it on a low frame and crack the door. The excess heat will warm your hall and other rooms over time. The tub will stay warm no matter when you use it. Timers are a weak spot and they will fail before the heater is dog-tired out. Its your money. Other than a factory defect-like the one I had- most of the complaints are because the people did not follow these steps. The producer failed to explain these details.

Exceptional odor during operation; stopped working after 1 month
I bought this stove-top at 50% off, but it was supposed to be a new heater. It came with a large dent in one of the metal panels and the stain was chipped off. I called, and the company gave me a choice of returning the heater for replacement or a $15 credence (since the damage was only cosmetic). I took the $15 on the reassurance that the damage would not affect the presentation of the heater. I also asked about the funny smell when the heater was operating, and they said that would go away at last. However, the heater stopped working after less than 1 month. For the net price I paid, it's hardly worth tiresome to return the heater, but the whole thing left a bad taste in my mouth. (And a funny scent in my nose -- the smell didn't go away after using the heater for a month!)

In the final analysis, really nice.
All in all, I'm very pleased as Punch with this item.

Pros:
Very consistent heat (not a lot of ups and downs)

Heat seems to rise more out of the top then out of the sides. My other one honourable gets hot all around which makes it harder to place in a room and more dangerous for kids.

Cons:
No digital thermostat.

So far so honest
The winter of 09-10 killed the heat increase compressor that heated and cooled my upstairs (two large open rooms). Because of its age, I had to either replace the whole system (air handler, too), or take a inadvertent on replacing just the compressor with hope nothing else major fails. I decided on the latter and bought the Delonghi for helpful heat. My plan is to run the repaired heat pump as little as possible in winter and use it chiefly for cooling in summer. Since it was the end of winter, the Delonghi didn't get a full workout, but it worked far better than I'd anticipated. I'm still frustrating to find the best settings, but I think it's going to do the job. I was very concerned about leaving it on 24-7, but after checking the market and cord (many times!) for heat buildup, I relaxed and let it do its thing. Since I didn't use it for a full season, I withheld a celebrity. I may need another one to satisfactorily heat the entire space for a full season, but wouldn't hesitate buying the same portion. It's clean, quiet, takes up little space -- and it works.

So far so considerable
So far this has been a documentation unit. I use it to keep my plumbing in my RV from freezing in the winter. I have left my RV unattended with this set to "Anti Freeze" for about a month now and all is well. It hasn't burned the all right down yet. We'll see what next season holds.

Out of order product
We have owned many of these heaters over the years, using them in apartments we owned. We did not fluctuate to buy another.

However, the one we received is defective and we will begin its return immediately. The very first week we began using it, it started leaking oil. We have never had this in any of the other units we have owned.

We will be returning for an return immediately. I am eager to see how smoothly this goes. My first communication will be with my credit card company, advising them of the impecuniousness to return this purchase.
