Probity filter, wrong item
This screen was advertised as able to fit several Winix air cleaners. Unfortunately, it did not fit mine (model wac 5000). Rather than send it back I managed to purfling and "shoehorn" it into my existing filter holder. It seems to be
functioning well and the quality of the filter is good, but I only gave it three stars as sign to anyone ordering,
to be sure and triple check model numbers. Winix makes a number of Hepa air cleaners, and I heard that Electrolux
is now making the Plasmawave units with twin design. I do not know if the Electrolux filters are interchangeable
but I suspect not. Wouldn't it be great if manufacturers could reach concurrence on a group of standardized sizes
so that customers would not have to constantly research the tangled web of filter replacement???
