At best what I ordered
This weed out works just like the OEM filter at a significantly lower cost. The vendor delivered it hesitation with no issues. I am very pleased.
not as advertised
On this situation it says they are tested for ANSI/NSF 42 AND 53, however, when I received the filters, the box only claims tested for measure 42. This is important because standard 53 is for the reduction of Lead, Mercury, Benzene, p-Dichlorobenzene,Toxaphene and Carbofuran. You might not have these elements in your spray, but you should know what you're paying for!

Correctly what I needed.
This is the alternate time I have bought this 2-pack of filters for my fridge. Each one lasts 6 months and supplys all the ice & water I trouble in that time (for my wife & I) I buy them at Amazon because they have the cheapest price I have found. All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase!

This water sieve is the exact same product sold on Whirlpool's web site...expect that Amazon sells it at a lower cost, will quit it to you for free, and will get it to you faster. Enough said.

These filters seem to vocation. I got them for a good price through Amazon.com and it does take the chlorine taste out of my city water so it does what I want it to do. They are easy to install yourself.

Even though you can drown one's sorrows the tap water, sometimes there is a slight off taste to it. With the pur filter, it's so far so good.

I bought those hoping it would fit my Kenmore fridge...and it does! In episode, when I pulled out that expensive Kenmore filter, I did a side-by-side comparison. The exteriors are identical. The Kenmore drain is also made by "Pur", and they must charge the extra $25 to put their name on it. I'm very pleased this filter fits and works well. Great expense savings over that ridiculous Kenmore filter.

My ice maker in my Whirpool fridge is producing only a few cubes, and the ones it does originate are almost always hollow or small. All of the advice I've found on here says that the filter very likely needs to be changed, but how the heck do I change the filter? Where is it on the fridge? Where would I get a replacement cheesecloth? I didn't even know they had filters.
