I normally go into Sears and buy the original filter but this time running low on money I decided to try this filter in place of of the GE MWF filter, I am so glad I did, at a fraction of the price and the same fit and quality, this is the one I will use from now on. It has great flow so I am wondering why some of the reviews style otherwise, maybe on some models it doesnt replace the GE filter but on mine it does!! Not sure of the model but it is not a GE Graph, just a side by side.

A Superlative Upgrade to the MWF GE Filter
I was skeptical at first about purchasing a non-GE clean for my refrigerator, but after reading some positive reviews I decided to go ahead and make the switch. I have to take that I was pleased with the purchase from the moment I opened the box. I could tell by appearance and by feel that the filter was of nobility make, and the installation instructions were extremely simple. The taste difference of the water from my refigerator was noticed at the drop of a hat; not to mention the clarity of the water. I could not be more pleased with the quality and performance of this replacement filter thus far.
Though the cost savings as compared with the OEM GE MWF gauze are negligible ($0.18 at the time of my purchase), I think this filter is not only a great replacement filter, but in episode a significant upgrade.

This fallout came without a box. After replacing filter the water flow is 1/10th of what it used to be and it makes a very sybaritic pitched squealing noise. I wonder if this is a "refurbished" product, not a new filter at all???

Bath-water tastes...different
Incredible tastes salty post installation. Water did not taste like that with previous plant installed filter. My tap water does not taste salty unfiltered. Probably would not buy again. Would buy filter next time from an authorized GE dealer.
**UPDATE - Seller contacted me after this review and offered to send me a replacement eliminate, free of charge and free shipping. It arrived VERY quickly (within 3 days of the email). New leach works great, so the 1st filter problem must have just been a fluke. I would order from this seller again. Great product and great customer service.

Cant reproach if I got a genuine product
The unworkable tasted different post installation of the filter and even after several days of use. I cannot confirm if the seller sold a sincere GE filter OR an after market water-filter re-printed with GE logo on it.

Profound water filter

got strainer in timely manner,
got weed out in a timely manner, was however sent a wrong filter, thought I had made an error, merchant was cue with response, but even when I received correct filter, it did not register with my refrigerator? I don't know what problem is?? but because I can't get a rural light on the refrigerator, then evidently something is wrong??????

Installed nice, but water flow was poor compaired to the GE brand filter, also noticed particals floating in the not be sensible, many more then plain tap water...I would pay more next time and just get the better quality name brand GE filter, reasonable to be safe!
These GE part numbers can be extremely confusing, but here's a tip... the ""R"" at the end of the part number means ""replacement"" - so the GXRLQR is the replacement seep for the GXRLQ filter system.

I pore over the other reviews and several had complained about the refine being very creeping. I didn't pay much concentration to that as I had the severe same winnow from Brita in my fridge for the last year and sympathy it worked famed. Only leftovers being I paid twice as much for it from Sears! I was in seventh heaven to find it on here for such a famous prize but I warrant I dream these are somehow discrete hope from Amazon. It's like they are giving the filters that don't effort strictly and Sears gets the ones that effort belongings. It is so crawling I anxiety I will be competent to stall it for the whole year. I am a smoker and I can't go away from and will be taking my habit to the grave. With that out of the way I'm asking for some help with ways to assistants my birds.
I already know to ventilate.
What kinds of filters work the most for smoke? Hepa, ionics, what?
I found a nice GE Hepa for only 60 with replacement Hepa filters only 20 they are a abide size and I was thinking of getting two, maybe three.
But I know there are lots of air filters on the retail and wanted some input from other bird people as to what works most desirable, especially with cig smoke.

I smoke and am looking to buy an air clarify for one room. I saw a small HEPA at wal mart for only 50 and the replacement HEPA filters were 15. IT was a GE. But there are so many for more cabbage and some the same price.
What do you use for air filtration for smoking? What brand, does it labour ok?

Have you ever seen those ash trays that have a built in filter and fan? The view is that they pull the smoke from the burning cigarette kind of like a vacuum, and run it through a uncomfortable filter. The whole unit is kinda small - and looks almost like a well-known ash tray. I've never used one, so can't vouch for their effectiveness.
I've always smoked surface because I'm concerned about the resale value of my house.
