Oscillation handle stuck after a week
A week after I bought this fan, I pulled up the handle to make the fan oscillate. When I tried to push it back down, it won't go back down. I tried twisting, pounding, etc. and it is just stuck. I can't accept sleeping to an oscillating fan - cold/hot/cold/hot so it's useless. I'll try to return it, but I'm not sure if they'll still take it. Frustrating.
And as other reviewers said, it is Uncommonly loud. I didn't mind it because I like the white noise, but wow. And good or bad, the 2 and 3 settings are like in the cards scare tunnels.

An OK pedestal fan
I'd upbraid this fan fair. Air movement is good. The fan post rotates in the base, which is a nuisance. The vibration of the fan motor causes the fan to trade places ever so slowly. You have to reposition the fan frequently. I had to glue the post to the based to solve the problem. The fan cover is cheap plastic, not metal. For convenience, the controls should have been mounted on the post instead of on the motor. A few years ago, most pedestal fans had metal shrouds with tiller mounted on the post. It seems that quality keeps going down while prices stay about the same.

It Works
It was comfortable to put together. This is the second fan I have owned of this brand. It does the job I want it to do. What more could one ask for from a fan? When this one wears out I will buy another Lasko fan.

Altogether worthless
Silly, just plain worthless. I purchased one of these fans a month ago, and it broke that very same night. I foolishly presumed that I had just gotten a defective one, but the replacement broke a week later. I'm not even going to try and get another replacement. I would very strongly favour not purchasing a fan from Lasko, as they are simply broken junk.

Advantage alternative

Eximious fan!
This fan is extreme. I've had it for about a year now. I religiously have to sleep every night with a fan running and this one hasn't given me any problems! I'm also a moderate amusing sleeper, so it's great that the fan is very quiet. Remote is a nice feature, too.

i thrust this fan had a lower speed. at low speed it is a bit to powerful. and i do not like the loud beep it has when you shut it off. other than that it seems close.

Enormous fan
This fan works abundant in the gym. I keep the remote on the treadmill and can turn it on without having to miss a step.

Adoration THIS FAN! Better than my expecations!
I'm very impressed with this fan. It's very interesting and looks much better than in this picture. I had no idea it would be this powerful. It's more like the $50-$60 fans that I purchased that were more urban stength. I wasn't quite sure at first if it would be too powerful on the lowest setting because I sleep with this fan on at sundown, but it is fine. I love that it has a remote and I can turn it on/off or adust the speed without getting up from my bed. I'm really impressed I've had it for a span of months and LOVE IT! There were few reviews on Amazon for this fan when I purchased it but checked Lowe's or Home Lumber room and it had many reviews and most every one was good.

Resounding!
I found this fan to be incredibly clamorous. Even on the lowest speed, it is very powerful. If you are looking for a very strong and powerful fan, this fits the bill. If you are looking for a still, quiet fan that you can use while you sleep, stay away from this model.

A unquestionably cool fan.
This fan was wonderful-easy to assemble. The only tools required were opposable thumbs. I love the breeze idiosyncrasy, which makes the fan cycle through all the speeds. The remote also makes this fan great for use in the bedroom. I'm very pleased with this fan and I would propound.

Frozen of Mom
My nourish in law has an airconditioning unit but will not use it because it raises her electric bills so we bought her this fan and it did the job of cooling her and that is all I wanted it to do. Critical product; own some of my own and I use my air conditioner.

Almost Entire
The Lasko fan was delivered very hurriedly and was easy to assemble. It moves the air very well and is reasonably quiet at high speed. At the lower speeds, prudent is virtually undetectable. The price is more than fair.
As a previous poster pointed out, the pictures show the fan to be unsullied, but it is, in fact, grey. This does not matter to us, as it is used in a large master bathroom train where there is no air movement when the house is closed up for air conditioning, but it may make a difference to others and should be noted.

Not Wan
This Lasko #2526 fan is Dull, not White. The box and all pictures show a bright optic white fan, but it's a dull grey; not even a greyish-snowy...it's a definite dull grey. My other smaller Lasko fans are white, and so from the pictures, I assumed this was white also. I put them back in the boxes and returned them, without assembling or tiring them out. Grey is not what I wanted.

This is a very weighty fan. However because of this it is also rather noisy. It is also quite heavy and cumbersome to carry around.
