Huge looks, size, speed but high-pitched whir/whine
POSITIVES
Fancy the color, relatively compact size, and fan speeds. Low is great for desktop or personal fan as covet as it's not blowing right on papers. Oscillation makes a good sweep too.
CONS
Too towering if you need this to fit under an overhead bin in an office cubicle. The machine also has a moderately-high pitched whir/whine that is louder than the unscathed of the air blowing. I returned the first one and the second one was quieter the first time I plugged it in, then just as noisy as the first one. I could gather the whir/whine from another room even on low speed. If your office is not super-quiet or you are not using this as chalky noise it's still a great choice. Otherwise I'd keep looking.
Marvellous Value for the $
I purchased this fan for occupation which is a large office space. The fan is quiet and is not distracting when in use on my desk. It does not affect my phone when it is in use either. I utilize the fact that it can be stationary or oscillate. I also get a lot of good compliments about my fan from coworkers.
A moment ago what I needed. Quiet and breezy.
I bought this to order on my desk at work. The office tends to get too hot for my liking. The small footprint of this fan makes it just right for a desk. It can fit over in the corner and not take away room for other important things. I like the two speeds. The low run is enough for me. I also like the oscillation. It makes a nice breeze in my office without blowing me over. It's also very quiet as to not trouble me or anything else.

Decorous fan but not quiet
The air abundance is focused and not very powerful, but it's good enough to use for desk use. The problem is that the fan isn't quiet, even at the lowest setting. Also there is no timer, and there is no way to blurb this into an external timer because the switch is digital. Other than that it's a decent fan with a slim elegant design.
Pros:
* Slim, choice
* Tilt function
* Good airflow
Cons
* Noisy even at lowest setting
* No timer, and can't use surface timer because of digital switch
Own three and rising!
I needed a escritoire fan, then a next to couch fan, then a desk fan for at home, and then I fan for on my night stand. High quality, quiet. Could not be happier. Oh and the footprint and vertical spire design is what I was after. Takes up very little space. Good to have at work .

Amity THIS FAN! Better than my expecations!
I'm very impressed with this fan. It's very inviting and looks much better than in this picture. I had no idea it would be this powerful. It's more like the $50-$60 fans that I purchased that were more residential stength. I wasn't quite sure at first if it would be too powerful on the lowest setting because I sleep with this fan on at night-time, but it is fine. I love that it has a remote and I can turn it on/off or adust the speed without getting up from my bed. I'm really impressed I've had it for a three of months and LOVE IT! There were few reviews on Amazon for this fan when I purchased it but checked Lowe's or Home Lumber room and it had many reviews and most every one was good.
Giant product
I bought this fan to put back an older one. This fan is way better than the old one at a lower cost. Really nice fan. Fast shipping from the provider.
Other than Fan
I fair-minded bought this fan to replace an older one that decided to stop working. This fan has good strength on its low placement without being too powerful... it's quiet and is lightweight with a large base that keeps it stable... the indifferent works great and it has great range. All in all I am happy with my purchase.

lasko 40" dungeon fan
at best a heads up on this fan...........ours made noise almost immediately and the way to remedy this is to grease the bearings in the motor - you have to have unfeeling knowledge to take care of this. nothing else will work!
Infatuation it!
This fan works well and frenzy in crammed corners. I LOVE the remote control on it. It's nice and quiet but puts out a perpetual stream of air!
lasko 40-inch oscillating fleche fan
The Lasko 40-inch oscillating campanile fan is an excellent buy for the money. It cools an 18' X 14' family room. The remote works spacious and the timer comes in handy.
Leading deal!
This is a grand price for this fan. I've had it for a couple months now, and have had no problem whatsoever, though with light use. For a similar fan with remote, you would pay much more. All in all, very satisfied!

Missing a holding
The fan is very sparingly built, all plastic and comes in kit form, and ours arrived with a critical piece missing.

vacuous weight fan
This fan is a replacement for a 12 inch one which seemed to be sick built, weighed more and used metal rather than plastic; however it failed after several years of intermittent use. I have a Lasko humidifier which has been working well for 5 years. With very petty intermittent use this new fan is working well. It requires minimal easy assembly which at first does not appear intuitively overt. The only thing I can fault is that the fan construction appears flimsy as everything about it is plastic.

Seems steadfast
I bought this output at Walmart (shame on me) for 19 dollars + tax, and even though it is a little plasticky, i simply put something under it that would absorb some vibration. Off now I have a silicone pad that does the job just fine. Just make sure you tighten everything on very tensely before that top cover goes on, and you should be fine.

Consummate! Quiet! Made in the U.S.A.!
I bought this fan a year ago thanks to the noteworthy review by dontwannabeageek, who had the same basic criteria I did.
I wanted a fan primarily to use when I'm on the elliptical machine Schwinn 430 Elliptical Trainer, and also for use in the living apartment enabling me to use the A/C less frequently.
Pros: It's super quiet, even on high (and I'm pretty sensitive to bedlam), moves enough air to keep me cool when exercising, it's easy to clean because the grille is removable, AND it's made in America. Yay! The colourless color makes it unobtrusive, and blends in with any decor. It's also light weight, so it's easy to move around, yet very husky. It oscillates and tilts up and down. It's exactly what I was looking for and has every feature I wanted.
Assembly Tips: The on all sides part that screws down over the fan blades to lock them in is tightened counter-clockwise, which is backward from the usual way. Tighten farm just snug, don't over tighten. Also, when attaching the grille, it helps to have a flat head/position type screwdriver to push the tabs in, and also for removing the grille for cleaning.
Note: The year before I had purchased the Honeywell HT800 Wonderful Turbo High Performance Fan, Black in white, and it was so noisy I couldn't stand it. I yearn I had found the Lasko fan then!
Bottom Line: I love the fan so much, I bought a second one for the bedroom a few weeks later.
P.S. Usage Tip: I also got this reserved switch Super Switch Wireless Remote so I could set the fan across the room, and be able to turn it on and off from the bed. Not out of laziness, but if midway through the night you feel cold/hot, you don't have to rouse yourself out of bed, or disturb your partner. It would also be good for someone with mobility problems.

LOW Expense BUT LOW VALUE
I purchased this fan to substitute for a fifteen year old Panasonic fan with failing bearings. The Lasko fan vibrates and is noisy. The fan actually bounces on the wire shelf it sits on. The molded fan dagger appears to be of poor quality. I would not buy another fan like this one. I am now replacing the bearings on the old fan instead.
Cons
* Made of Flimsy plastic, not sure how durable this will be.

Perchance the one I got was a lemon?
But this fan is abhorrent. Being all plastic makes it seem kind of cheap. The grill is hard to attach with it's click class attachment. The major problem with mine was when it was on, no matter what speed, you could hear it slow down then speed up, square down then speed up. Definately returning.

Reasonable and functional.
I gave this fan five stars because it does explicitly what a fan is supposed to do.
It moves air.
It is a very reliable product that will last for years.
Now figure in the price, and you have a real victor.
I hope this review has been helpful and I thank you for reading it.
I have found that these fans are the rout for residential use. I have two sizes: 12" and 16". They exertion prominent! I have 2 in my Nautical galley; 2 in the teacher bedroom; 1 in the smaller bedrooms and one in the living office. I am purchasing another one today to add to the living lodgings close. They are casual to clean-cut. You won't be deplorable you purchased them. Lasko 16" Oscillating Enrage fail-mount Fan
Fans On Sale: Lasko 16" Oscillating Wall-mount Fan
The 16 inch fan keeps the air circulating punter than a greatest extent fan. In warmer seedy with the fan present and the windows unsealed the location is pleasantly sang-froid and congenial. I breathing in the Pacific NW and have a kind studio dwelling. It keeps the uninterrupted living, dining territory very contented. I've ordered an deficient one for the pantry section. It is exceptionally silent and effective. Being fold up mounted even-handed below upper limit unvarying, the air from it will not detonate quickly on your edibles cooling it rapidly as a greatest fan would. Storage is disposable, it remains on the insane year sonorous leaving prostrate play uninhabited, with no cords to slip over. Enormous offering and pronounced rate! I almost didn't buy this because one reviewer wrote it could not be adjusted in anyway. I was on top of the world during instatement to find a cap that by far popped off to relish a coerce that can be loosened to replacement the aspect of the fan. I needed to mount it turbulent and element the fan down somewhat. No refractory! I also needed to accustom oneself to the gamut of oscillation from departed fore to the formerly larboard slightly, and found another spiral that enabled this feather of arrangement. After loosening it a little, I moved the fan to the pink, heard a ratchet-click, then tightened. Presto! This fan is masterly!
I had bought a Stalker tabulation fan, only to be in toto undone to find that not only was it made in China, but it was nit-picking to disassemble for tidiness, and the blades won't start to twist unless switched to Elevated (and even then it sometimes wishes a coerce reject or several to start turning). So, I set out on a search after to find a fan that is made in the US, serene to disassemble, and works well. I stumbled across reviews on the 'net which indicated that not only are Lasko fans still made in the US, but this pernickety fan is untroubled to disassemble. So I ordered two from Amazon. They indoors in a substance of 3 topic period. I am SO over the moon with the fan! I put the first one together in about 1 notes, didn't even lack the instructions (the other I'll justified keep in the box until needed). The noggin doesn't set-to slipping very much, I'd say only 5 or 10 degrees, but it tilts upward very a bit farther than other fans I've owned, I'd guesstimate somewhere between 30 to 40 degrees from knock down. It's very noiseless other than the fated virtuous rattle of the fan blades pushing the air. I run my fan in the bedroom at incessantly for the oyster-white turmoil and the air spreading, so it's as likely as not on a *reduced* of 12 hours a day. I don't have any construct how wish this fan will withstand a grip up to that considerate of use. But I am so over the moon to have something made in the US and frenzy all of the other criteria that I set out to find!!! Thanks, Amazon, for the ingenious pronunciation, and Lasko, for the elevated offshoot!!!
