Customer Reviews

Lasko fan
I am blithe with the fan overall. The only complaint that I have is that due to its small size and lack of weight it takes two hands to drive the push button controls.
Redress from the heat
I barely moved to a workspace where the temperature is much too warm for my comfort. My desk is quite small so after reviewing the options I purchased the Lasko 4000. The low alacrity is more than sufficient to keep me cool and I love that it oscillates without making any additional noise. My traditional fans always seem to blabber and vibrate. That said, the fan is not completely silent but it certainly is not extremely loud either. I don't agree with the complaints about it being too loud. Right now I have it on the low setting and I can still perfectly hear my radio which is turned down quite low, the people around me talking on their phones and even the yourself in the next cube chewing her ice. The high speed is noisier, but still, not so much that one can't talk on the phone or hold a palaver with it on.

I'm going to purchase a second one for my bedroom. The footprint is small enough that I will be able to place the fan on my Stygian stand without interfering with the other items there. Either speed isn't so noisy that it will prevent sleeping.
Crucial fan
This is a in reality nice fan. I'm bringing it with me to college so I need something small but powerful. This little fan will fit perfectly on my escritoire. It has a good level of air flow but I was hoping for something a little quieter. It's still better than most fans, especially for the quotation.
Bedside Fan
I got this fan to resist keep me cool in my room at Bagram Airfield, Afghanistan. It sits on a box next to my bed and works great for what I privation. I have a bigger fan in the door to bring cooler air in and this one next to the bed. The lights on the front are pretty bright and can be annoying, but I put tube tape over them to darken them up a little. It also sometimes has a little rattle from the fan, but it hasn't caused me to lose any catnap yet. All in all, it has been very good for me and I only wish the lights on the front were darker or could be dimmed.
TOO Serene
This hardly ever, tiny, Lasko 4000 Air Stik Ultra-Slim Oscillating Fan is just the greatest!

Hey, I live in Las Vegas with the temperatures during the summer are over 100 degrees most generation. I turn on this little guy while sitting at our computer and I am just so comfortable! It sure helps to keep our A/C bill at a reasonable merit. I found two more at a local store and one was defective and had to bring it back for an exchange which happens from time to time. If I knew how marked this little fan was I would have ordered more from Amazon. My hubby took one to work and the third as a "just in case". I am open-mouthed at how cool this little thing is. A must have. You won't be disappointed!

52" Break-Saving Oscillating Pedestal Fan with Remote Control, 3-Speed

Customer Reviews

Very stuff b merchandise!
It's rest, easy assembly and quite powerful on the highest setting. I like that it sits on it's own pinch-hit for. This way I can put it in the corner of my office and it blows at your torso, not your ankles like most fans.
Spacious Height
Ordered this fan because of its zenith so I could use it in the bedroom with a tall bed and it works great in that environment. Easy to assemble, just a few screws in the mean and insert the pole. The height adjustment "nut" is made of plastic and does need to be turned very tense to hold. Once I set the height, I'm not planning on changing it, but would be a bit concerned that with repeated use that nut might break. The base if passably big, about 15" wide. High speed isn't what I would call quiet but it's not too annoying and after a bit the sound is just silver noise. The remote does need to be pointed directly at the unit to function. Also of note, the fan doesn't in point of fact attach to the pole, it just sits on top, so if you pick it up to move it, beware, the fan will come off - that could be a plus in that it's easier to carry out d kill two pieces rather than one tall fan - or it could be a minus in that you have to carry two pieces.
Fan upright, Lasko customer service not so good
I bought this fan even-handed 5 days ago to replace a fan which had stopped working. I have a similar Lasko fan (identical except this one is taller) and have been pleased with it. It is a most unattractive fan, but it has been responsible. For this one I needed a taller fan. I have not had the need for a remote control in the past, but for this one I did. Where I need this fan, I need the isolated to access the controls.

However, when the package arrived, the remote control was nowhere to be found. Lasko customer service by phone had closed for the day (4 CST), so I contacted them using their online build. They later responded by telling me I must either fax or mail them my Amazon receipt, that the information alone was not adequate.

I am 67 years old, so I have a bit of buying incident. I think only twice over the years have we ever ordered anything which arrived with missing parts. Both times, a phone call to chap service ensured we received our missing part by overnight delivery.

I emailed them back with the information they asked for, asking if I could please fulfill the essential by email as I don't have a fax machine and didn't feel the need to spend 44 cents to fix their mistake.

I did not receive a reply from them, so I called them today. I spent over 30 minutes with patron service, much of the time on hold. My original question was if I could meet the requirements over the phone. I was told yes, and then we talked about how to cut this. I am also quite familiar with their "on-hold music." Supposedly I could and sent two emails while I was on the phone. However, the emails went to someone many than the person to whom I was talking, so he finally said they would call me back. Unfortunately, they called when I could not get to the phone, so I received a agency mail. I was told I must mail or fax the receipt, that the "receipt" I sent them -- which was a copy/paste of Amazon's invoice, something I couldn't "falsify" if I had to, was not adequate. At this point, I am very frustrated over the whole experience. And I seldom get frustrated, believe it or not.

As far the fan itself, it seems to work okay. However, where I indigence to have it, I must access it with a remote which I do not have.

This review is not a knock on the fan itself (like I said, it is about as tacky a fan as I've seen, but we have one correspond to which has worked well) but a knock on Lasko's customer service if you end up with problems and have to deal with them.
Somewhat disappointed
I bought this fan to use chiefly in my bedroom, which is about 10ft by 12ft. It is a decent fan in a lot of ways, but it disappoints where it really matters.

Pros
- It looks cute nice.
- It is not too difficult to assemble.
- It is pretty quiet, except as noted under Cons, below.
- The remote works tuneful well, except as noted under Cons, below.

Cons
- The airflow is dismal. I sit about 8 feet away from the fan, and even at full power (there are three levels), with the fan momentarily facing me, I an barely feel it. Very disappointing.
- When on its highest setting, the fan begins to sound like it's debilitated. Perhaps mine is, and should be RMA'd, but the cost of doing so would not be worth it considering the price.
- It makes a loud and annoying tootle whenever it turns on or off. Shorter and much less annoying beeps are used when changing speeds.
- The remote feels very ramshackle, particularly the battery cover. 2xAAA Batteries are not included.
- The buttons on both the fan itself and the remote are austere plastic, and feel really cheaply made.
- If you are using the remote to control the fan, you might not be able to see the indicators on the fan itself to recall which level each setting is on. The remote itself does not have indicators. This would primarily be an issue for the timed-deactivation, as you can with no tell which speed it's on, or whether it's oscillating.

If the airflow had been good none of the other things would have really mattered too much but as it stands I am very wretched with this fan and I do not recommend it.
works considerable
the fan is grievous. it's quiet, provides good air and oscilates arond 90 degrees. great merchandise for the price.

Customer Reviews

Beneficial customer
I am very apt with this product. Especially liked the super shipping savings and how quickly I received the fan. Will contunue to use Amazon. I have always been glad with service.
This Fan Blows...
...very well. It moves a lot of air, and oscillates as well. The inaccessible control is quite nice. A really nice fan.
This fan is awesome.
I upstanding got this fan yesterday. It's totally awesome. I assembled it myself, and it was super-easy. I am one of those people who has trouble putting anything together, and fooling -- there's nothing to it. Anybody can put this together with a quick read-through of the instructions. The fan is *very* powerful. I bought it to use in my exercise dwelling. Even while exercising, I only need it set at Low. I can't imagine ever using Medium or High. When I'm not exercising, even Low makes me distant. It's a powerful fan. Highly recommend. Will post back if I have any problems, but so far it's exactly what I want! I never had a fan with a remote put down before. Very convenient! And yes, it makes some white noise, but I'm personally not bothered by that (how quiet do folks definitely expect a powerful fan to be?).
An nonpareil purchase
I am so impressed with the the whole shebang b a thrashing and design of this fan! So easy to put together that it took less than five minutes and no tools!
It's lightweight, easy to adjust, and very sound on its pedestal.
If I had to make one complaint it's that it is a tad noisy, however probably not any noisier than any other fan that moves this much air.
excellent fan
I bought this fan last year. Liked it so well that I ordered another one a few weeks ago. It is still, and works quite well on low. Sometimes I use medium but have never tried high. I love the fact that it requires no tools to put together and is so lucid. I put my second one together and helped my son put his together without reading directions. It takes maybe 5 minutes to put together. Also, it can be stored iln the box it comes in with very minute taking apart. Very easy to remove front grill for cleaning. I would definitely recommend this fan. I darling the remote when using in a bedroom. Sometimes it gets too hot or too cool in the night and I just reach over, clutch the remote, and turn on or off without getting up.

12" Oscillating Portrayal Table Fan with an Advanced Grill Design for Ultimate Air Flow

Customer Reviews

a Good-looking cool fan
A graceful cool fans, except that it is a little bit over priced, I think.

A nice fan in a not so hot day.

It is very quiet.
Effects for the price
Capable fan that moves a lot of air and is pretty quiet. If it starts to get a little noisy you can tighten the parts or readjust it and it's repose quiet down for the rest of the night.
workable, but easy to assemble
This fan is all ductile and cheap. It makes a humming sound as it operates. There are 3 settings and I usually keep it on the lowest because of the undisturbed and the lowest setting is pretty strong. It is very easy to put together and took about 5 minutes. I wonder how hanker it will last since the quality does not seem great.
Immense little fan for the price
I've had several of Lasko fans and have them spotted throughout the house. For the price you can't beat it. Three speeds, quiet enough for me and I even put a couple near the dog beds and they rapture the cool breeze. For $20, a great deal and my other ones have lasted years and serene to clean and disassemble.
Not the pre-eminent, Not the worst.
The fan is superficially made, cheap plastic, flimsy blade, very flimsy everything. Well it didn't take long before the first emotionally upset occurred, not even a few hours into running an extremely annoying CLICKING sound as it rotates, and there is nothing you can do about it, I took it separately, checked for lose screws, nothing.

Also this fan is extremely loud just by itself. If you have a hard yet sleeping with background noise, dont get this fan, it sounds like a jet engine flying through your lodge.

Overall, this fan does move air well, but it is loud, flimsy, and poorly made.

16" Oscillating Stand behind Fan

Customer Reviews

works outstanding, relatively easy to put together
it was somewhat easy to put together but lining up the outer shell was a little annoying. But the fan works great.
Showily constructed, but decent
I well-grounded received this fan, which was to be a replacement for the Soleus Air Remote Control fan I purchased back in March died. I am apt with the output of this thing, but putting it together, just felt cheap.

The clips that hold the front mask to the back had two that were broken and not even in the box. The fan blades themselves are flimsy, and the base has no weight at all.

If you are looking for a cheaply made fan, for about 10 dollars more then what you could get it for at your adjoining market, then this is the one for you. If you live in an area where this is the only choice, then spend another 20 bucks and get a Honeywell.
Chintzy fan at a cheap price.
Part of the grill was sporadic out of order when I received it which makes the front and rear grills not stay together. It is all cheap plastic anyway, so I used a zip tie to control it together.

In the end, it does what a fan is supposed to do.

16" Oscillating Stand behind Fan
This fan is very gentle to assemble and light weight to carry. Also, it is very easy to wash. I used this fan during the whole summer. I liked it~
Esteemed Fan After Construction
I have a add up of Lasko fans
througout my apartment. As time
has gone on, the materials used
seem to have deteriorated.

Putting together this fan was
not finicky until I tried to
put on the cover. I ended up with
bloody fingers and taking 10 mins
for what should have been a 2 min
business.

The fan works fine and I assume
it will for a couple of years.

The design should go back to an
earlier version which was made with
punter materials and was easier
to put together.

Lasko 3016 16" Wall Mount Oscillating Fan

I have found that these fans are the rout for residential use. I have two sizes: 12" and 16". They exertion prominent! I have 2 in my Nautical galley; 2 in the teacher bedroom; 1 in the smaller bedrooms and one in the living office. I am purchasing another one today to add to the living lodgings close. They are casual to clean-cut. You won't be deplorable you purchased them. Lasko 16" Oscillating Enrage fail-mount Fan

Fans On Sale: Lasko 16" Oscillating Wall-mount Fan

The 16 inch fan keeps the air circulating punter than a greatest extent fan. In warmer seedy with the fan present and the windows unsealed the location is pleasantly sang-froid and congenial. I breathing in the Pacific NW and have a kind studio dwelling. It keeps the uninterrupted living, dining territory very contented. I've ordered an deficient one for the pantry section. It is exceptionally silent and effective. Being fold up mounted even-handed below upper limit unvarying, the air from it will not detonate quickly on your edibles cooling it rapidly as a greatest fan would. Storage is disposable, it remains on the insane year sonorous leaving prostrate play uninhabited, with no cords to slip over. Enormous offering and pronounced rate! I almost didn't buy this because one reviewer wrote it could not be adjusted in anyway. I was on top of the world during instatement to find a cap that by far popped off to relish a coerce that can be loosened to replacement the aspect of the fan. I needed to mount it turbulent and element the fan down somewhat. No refractory! I also needed to accustom oneself to the gamut of oscillation from departed fore to the formerly larboard slightly, and found another spiral that enabled this feather of arrangement. After loosening it a little, I moved the fan to the pink, heard a ratchet-click, then tightened. Presto! This fan is masterly!

Lasko Fans: Lasko 12" Oscillating Table Fan

I had bought a Stalker tabulation fan, only to be in toto undone to find that not only was it made in China, but it was nit-picking to disassemble for tidiness, and the blades won't start to twist unless switched to Elevated (and even then it sometimes wishes a coerce reject or several to start turning). So, I set out on a search after to find a fan that is made in the US, serene to disassemble, and works well. I stumbled across reviews on the 'net which indicated that not only are Lasko fans still made in the US, but this pernickety fan is untroubled to disassemble. So I ordered two from Amazon. They indoors in a substance of 3 topic period. I am SO over the moon with the fan! I put the first one together in about 1 notes, didn't even lack the instructions (the other I'll justified keep in the box until needed). The noggin doesn't set-to slipping very much, I'd say only 5 or 10 degrees, but it tilts upward very a bit farther than other fans I've owned, I'd guesstimate somewhere between 30 to 40 degrees from knock down. It's very noiseless other than the fated virtuous rattle of the fan blades pushing the air. I run my fan in the bedroom at incessantly for the oyster-white turmoil and the air spreading, so it's as likely as not on a *reduced* of 12 hours a day. I don't have any construct how wish this fan will withstand a grip up to that considerate of use. But I am so over the moon to have something made in the US and frenzy all of the other criteria that I set out to find!!! Thanks, Amazon, for the ingenious pronunciation, and Lasko, for the elevated offshoot!!!
