Kindly Fan
This is a precise fan. Perfect for an area without much space. We have had one almost like it before, and the cord deteriorated with use. We hope that will NOT happen with this one. It COULD be a incorrigible, but we like the fan type. It was easy to install, and it fits our needs.

Works but obstreperous. Cheap plastic.
It works but it may have a lose bent shaft or something. (Damage during shipping?) The thing rattles and shakes when turned on. Does the job but I'm looking to make good on it now... with another brand of fan.

Cool *and* Adjustable
I almost didn't buy this because one reviewer wrote it could not be adjusted in anyway. I was contented during installation to find a cap that easily popped off to reveal a screw that can be loosened to change the angle of the fan. I needed to mount it altered consciousness and point the fan down slightly. No problem! I also needed to adjust the range of oscillation from dead forefront to the left slightly, and found another screw that enabled this kind of adjustment. After loosening it slightly, I moved the fan to the Nautical port, heard a ratchet-click, then tightened. Presto! This fan is perfect!

NOT calmness!
I bought this fan to put in my daughter's bedroom! First of all it vibrates a lot and then when it oscillates there is a put off! I guess it would be ok in any other room but not in a bedroom as it makes too much noise...

budget-priced plastic
saddened. this is an all-plastic (cheap plastic) fan that does nothing but oscillate. there is no other vertical or horizontal adjustment, so where you set it on the wall is critical. have had no mechanical problems w/ this fan (so far), but for $60 I expected a lot more.

holmes hfh 5606 align heater is excellent
stove-top heated up 10 by 14 sq inch bedroom in 30 something degree temp., which is bizarre in miami. safe (have dogs)and small enough to put on night table. i had done research before ordering this and it paid off. would much recommend this.

Does the job in unfinished underground room room
I purchased the oven for an unfinished basement room (approx. 12x15) with no heating ducts. It gets rather cold in winter. After putting the fan setting on high, the room gets comfortable in about 5-10 minutes.

Formidable FAN!!!
Terrible fan!! Our garage door technicians LOVE the fan. It is fairly compact and has a lot of "wind" for the expanse!!! (A customer owned one of the Patton fans and let them use it in lieu of the box fan. They were so impressed that told me about it and I immediately ordered one)!! So yeah, GO PATTON!!! (Anything to keep "my guys" dispassionate and COOL!!

Very amicable fan.
Merely bought this fan a few days ago and like what everyone else has been saying, it is quite a powerful fan. Perfect for this time of the year where a lot of ventilation and airflow is needed. Notably when you get most of the western heat. A nice alternative if you don't have an air conditioner. When you sleep in a room that reaches triple digits during the summer and although it is totally noisy, it didn't affect my sleep at all.

3 give a leg up?
I had owned a Patton fan before and surely liked it until it fell out of a window... broke! I went to buy another one and couldn't find them anywhere except amazon. The first I received had been smashed within the plant box. The replacement fan was okay. The 3 speeds are so close together it's hard to tell them apart and it's a lot louder than my above fan. The fan doesn't feel as heavy as my older fan even though the older fan was a smaller fan. It would make a great garage fan but I'll look elsewhere for another race fan.

Buy A Outstrip Fan At A Flea Market! It Will Last You Longer!
Patton Fans are not the same anymore! I had one of these last only 2 months when the motor ruined and you can't really tell much difference between the speeds like you used to! First advice given: Set apart your sales receipts! I was able to return the fan to the store and get my refund since I had the receipt! Second guidance given: If you are looking for a good fan that will last you a while, shop around at flea markets, garage sales, caste sales, and check your local paper for things up for sale. I have found a few nice fans there at a tremendous price that are still running after at least 5 years! Yes, it took a little work to take them apart, clean, and surpass up, but it was well worth it! One thing to always remember about fans: always keep them oiled with good quality turbine oil even though the manufacturers of today say that they are permanately lubricated. There is no facts in fact to that and no motor will last without proper lubrication, just like a car! These silly companies of today quite tell you that so that the fans fail quickly for you! The older fan motors have oil cups above the shaft, but the newer ones don't anymore, so at best place the oil on both sides of the shaft and allow it to go into the fan motor. I found that a little bit of work and maintainence with not much affluent spent paid off for me, and it will do the same for you! As with anything made today, things are not made to last like they used to be, and if you are patient and persistent, you will find something out there that will last you longer!
