Humidifier leach
Faulty item shipped after waiting for several weeks to receive. After contacting seller by email twice they for good rectified the order. Product is fine as expected but would think twice about buying from this seller again!

Works as intended, but you must consider the water!
When I first started using the 05518 Hamilton Beach Cold mist humidifier with these filters I went through several a season. They would get moldy and start to smell bad after a few weeks. It could last a diminutive longer if I ran it all the time. However, last winter I found a site recommending the use of a Bacteriostatic water treatment with any unexcitable mist humidifier. I got some from RPS products and it is amazing! One filter lasted the whole season without a problem. RPS also indicate generic filters for this humidifier that seem to work just as well and are slightly cheaper. With the solution, 05518 is a fine fantastic humidifier and the filters work well.

Don't buy Hamilton Beach products
We purchased a Hamilton Beach quiet mist humidifier for our daughter. We go through one filter/month. The filters are not sold in any locals stores and we can only buy them on Amazon. We almost always have to purchase (6) at a time because the filters smell moldy after 3-4 weeks. Now the bounty has jumped from $6.99/filter to $15/filter. We are disappointed with the product and it's permformance.

I had one of these filters last two seasons. You have to periodically let them dry out and lose it them with each refill of the water container. Great deal buying three and getting one free. No brainer!

For some plead with this product is on short supply in the Pensacola, FL area however, Amazon came through like a champ. My daughter sleeps think twice now and that is important. The package arrived quickly and was the correct fit. Easiest way to shop is via Amazon.com

Hamilton Beach Unadulterated Air Filter is Great
I have owned my Hamilton Beach Genuine Air Humidifier for about 6 years. I have spent hours hunting locally for the filters for my humidifier and had no serendipity. I should have just purchased them from Amazon from the beginning. It was a safe, secure, and fast purchase and traveller.

I've kept my drip FRESH and stinkfree for 5 years
I have been using this humidifier for 5 years. Here's how I keep the sieve fresh.
I fill the tank at night before bed, run it on low, and by the next night the tank is empty and the filter is all dry. I flip the filter, fill the tank, and start over again. If I necessary to add water more frequently (on a dry day or if I want higher humidity), I still have to LET THE FILTER DRY OUT and FLIP the filter BEFORE I add new not ring true.
So, I run it 24/7, and it lasts about 7 to 8 weeks because
(1) I let the humidifier run until the filter is bone DRY for EACH tank of water.
(2) I top the filter every time I put a new tank of water on it.
(3) I put the tank and tray in the dishwasher once every 7 to 10 time.
These are what the instructions say to do, and I have found it WORKS! I need two or three filters per season.
If you keep adding water without letting the tray and dribble dry, your filter will get stinky and yellow in 2 weeks and you will be unhappy!
If you find the filter is soggy, let the humidifier run until it dries out. Imply sure there is no water in the tank and tray, and it will dry out faster in the humidifer (20 - 30 minutes on high-class?) than in the air.
Don't be unhappy: let the filter dry out between tanks.

Don't minister to too long to replace...
The screen definitely works. My son's room was redone and is quite clean (new carpets, new paint, etc.). Yet, run this humidifier every tenebrosity for a couple weeks, and the filter gets pretty dirty. Forget to replace it for another week or so, and it gets mephitic. Forget any longer, and it smells like ___!

Works as expected.
Amazon was one of the only seating we could find these filters after purchasing the humidifier. They seem to be fine. Over all the whole system works fine. I feel like the filters get gunky more without delay than I would prefer but I have no basis for comparison. The ease of buying them from Amazon beats spending an afternoon line around and shopping for them all over town.

Does the job
I like the estimate of this humidifier/vaporizor, but it is a little noisier than I expected. I could not find the filters instore anywhere, which was very annoying but I expect I saw them at WalMart recently. We run the vaporizor almost 24 hrs a day since our baby girl was born 2.5 yrs ago and I have tolerant of 4 filters. It's good for white noise too. Just remember to run it dry each time to make the separate last longer and prevent mildew from growing in the container.

Flagrant for price.
I received this very fast. Some people said it was loud and they must have really sensitive ears. I can't hear crap when it is on low, the only all at once I hear it is if it is on high and it is just a relaxing, low sound like a fan. If you really want one for a latitude and don't have a lot of money this thing is great. People who gave it bad reviews don't know how to use it correctly and have pussy ears.

Righteous Unit: Can Be Used As Tower or Desk Unit in Horizontal Position
I got this in the halfway point of the ragweed season and have it on most of the time. It definitely helps banish the allergens since I am allergic to ragweed, mushroom and dust, among other things. It is super quiet on the low "Whisperclean" setting and simply soft placid white noise on higher settings. There's even a "Quickclean" setting for more severe times: and this is the anticyclone speed. There is no ionizer, but I have no problem in not having one. The best part is that one does not need to buy filters. Exactly vacuum the permanent filter every 3-6 months. It can be set upright as a tower as well as horizontally and it has four sticky stuff feet with soft material on the outside that can be put on the unit for the horizontal position so it won't scratch things. There is a base for the "tower" position that can be easily removed if you place it horizontally. Very ergonomic and an outstanding investment. They were really thinking when they designed this.

Works well and is tranquil
I wanted this for my bedroom. It was even more silence than I expected. I've bought a few air cleaners over the past couple years and this one is the most quiet. On whisper environs I could barely hear it at all. It doesn't get much louder on medium setting. I like that I don't have to buy filters and can fitting use the vacuum when it's time to clean the filter. So far it works as advertised and I am happy with it. I am purchasing a bruised one for my son's room.

Don't sweat
I ordered this air cleaner for my area in Iraq. It's very dusty here and I thought maybe it would help. 18 days after ordering I recieved an E-dispatch informing me that the order was canceled because of "lack of availability from the supplier". When I ordered the item, "IN Ownership" was prominently displayed on each page as I navigated through ordering. This is the second time I've had trouble getting an notice. If you are ordering air products (cleaners, allergen control, etc...) I recommend some of the other sites. I've acclimated to amazon in the past and have had no issues with them until now. They seem to have little control over these products. I could have ordered elsewhere 18 period ago.

Quiter Than the 04211 Paragon
The 04211 I can learn over the microwave. This one (04269) I can't. It's still not as quiet as the Febreze model Odor Eliminator, but the 04269 does a back job of reducing odor. If you buy from DollarRite with Amazon fulfillment, you'll get the pet filter included, which is thicker than the key carbon filter. Also, the sheer circumference of the ventilated portion of the 04269 is bigger than the Febreze working model (keep in mind, however, the unit itself is also a little bigger, if space is at a premium).
I still prefer the Febreze pattern Odor Eliminator for its quiet fan, but this model runs a close second.

I Passion This Product!
I recently purchased this stopper-in odor eliminator because I was tired of spending endless amounts of money on candles and odor-eliminating sprays. I have two dogs, and before I purchased this component, as soon as you opened the door to my house, you could smell the dogs. This product took that pet-odor fetidness out of the air in my living room and I am 100% satisfied. I am also happy that I no longer need to waste profit on products to cover up that pet smell. I would reccomend this product to anyone with pets.

Data d fabric for small spaces
This component is great for small areas like closets, utility rooms, small bathrooms, etc. As another reviewer mentioned, a larger item is needed for medium to large sized rooms. I most recently used the unit in a hallway, justified outside of the room where the cat's litter box is located, to keep any odor from drifting to the rest of the house, and it worked very well. The filters always seemed to last longer than I expected them to, so I unqualifiedly feel that I get my money's worth.

Big Air Filter for Smaller Rooms
I bought this a four of weeks ago. The air filter works just as good as the more expensive ones. Worth the buy. Bought one to trial it out and now I'm buying 4 more. Works better in smaller rooms of course. I wouldn't use this for larger rooms; you'll privation to get a much larger air filter for the bigger rooms in your home. For me these are perfect fit for the small areas.

How to clean fan on hamilton beach humidifier?

I've looked at the online instruction vade-mecum but it doesn't say how to take it apart to get to the fan, so don't point me there! I've unscrewed screws to get to it but no avail. Its very dusty.
