Hysteria Aprilaire 400 Humidifier perfectly
This replacement clean fits the Aprilaire 400 humidifier and is cheaper (including shipping) than purchasing from aprilaire's website (even though they have liberated shipping).
That being said, this replacement filter is grossly overpriced for what it is. Clearly a profit forefront for Aprilaire.
I have ordered this part before and have had no issues with this seller. Product arrived quickly.

Credible Service
There's not much to say about the filters. They are the producer's replacement unit and do their job. The service from Filters-Now was very good with fast delivery. I won't hesitate to arrangement from them again, either directly or through Amazon. The price seems high for a simple paper and metal filter, but it's evidently a profit center for the manufacturer. The price from this vendor was much better than from others I found.

issue fine - delivery sucked
I have dealt with Filters Now before they are high-grade. Delivery of the items were screwed up when I used Amazon. I even paid a higher shipping jurisdiction than if I had gone directly through Filters Now. I spent several hours tracking it down. Amazon did not provide any succour. This is my second experience with Amazon and both are bad.

Punctual delivery
The principles in my humidifier was bad.
This one is identical to the manufacturers', but cost less. It was delivered quickly and fit right in with no problem at all.
It works as well as any of these devices do ( not that skilful) but if you already have an Aprilaire humidifier,
this is an easy-replace element for it.m If your humidifier drips you need a new element.
If you have never replaced one it is very restful.

Cheaper than Old folks' Depot
Normally I would have drove up to HD to buy a replacement, but when I saw the bounty was at least [...] bucks cheaper here on Amazon, well there wasn't much question. This is exactly the right seep for my Aprilaire 600 home humidifier system. It was a quick and painless swap out and I learned a little about the tidiness of the holder when I did it.
Joking of errors
The produce is exactly as advertised and I give it 5 stars. But getting it was a comedy of errors. After about a week I realized that it hadn't at home. I inquired and was told it was on back order. Eventually I got an email telling me that it had shipped. About a week later I realized that I had not received. I checked the tracking website and found the parturition status as "Delivery Exception." I called UPS and they said that the driver returned the incorporate to the terminal because he didn't know where to deliver it. Huh? The package was addressed to me at my office where UPS delivers dozens of packages every day. Turns out that the vendor acquainted with some sort of "home delivery" arm of UPS and they were not accustomed to delivering to anything but a house or apartment (!). I told them to merely take it to the dock. They said that they would have to reschedule the delivery and it would take 2-3 days. A couple of days later UPS called and said that the wrap would be delivered on Saturday. My office building is closed on weekends. Fortunately, UPS changed the deliverance instructions and dropped it off at my house on Saturday. It all worked out, but it took a month. Again, the product was slender . . . the process was goofy. Fortunately, this was not something critical.

This unworkable panel can sometimes be a tricky item to find in retail. You typically won't find this in any big box type store and I have had a hit and miss topic with the Home depot type stores. You can easily order it from one of the stores located from Aprilair's web area but Amazon's sellers still had the best price and the return policy can't be beat.

unsound runs thru the unit and out the bottom flow valve whenever the unit runs. Is this standard? It seems like a waste of water.
This conformist. These units are not the most water efficient, but it is a trade off to get some humidity back in the residency. The water needs to be running since the pad cannot hold water and old-fashioned air at the same time.
