Way too teeny
I made a big muff buying this. I thought it would be sufficient for a small bedroom and while it certainly does get rid of some of the moisture, it's incredibly ineffective and ineffective. Simply put, I put it in a room that had 65% humidity (according to humidistat) but after 12 hours of operative, the humidity level dropped down to about 63% and there was about a half cup of water in the tank.
Perhaps this would be fine for an unventilated bathroom pronto after a shower but it's completely useless for any other application. My advice to anyone who wants to dry up their space: suck it up and get a much more resilient (and, unfortunately, more expensive) machine. I ended up getting the SOLEUS and it's amazing.

Works euphonious well
This does an competent job of dehumidifying a small room. It is very humid right now and it seems to get moisture out of the air that the A/C doesn't. It's lots cheaper than buying a big dehumidifier.

Refined Product!
This will is quiet and filled its reservoir in my 36 foot boat within a week. The UV feature is a additional for sanitizing. Friends are astonished at what it does for the price. Beats granular hanging filters.

dehumidifer
I was downhearted at the size. I realize it is listed as mini, but it is really small and can do very little. I would not recommend this artefact except to be used in a very very small area.

It's OK
It pulls splash out of the air, but more slowly than I would like. The UV mold killer is a good idea and works well. It would be nice if it was a bit quieter.

Barring, if purchased for the right purpose.
I almost didn't buy this item because of the mixed reviews, but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Bottom line, it works spectacularly well if against for an enclosed space where the air isn't being circulated/exchanged. I have it in a guest-cabin behind my house which sits unutilized 90% of the time. It extracted about 1 cup of water in 24 hours of summer weather. Over a epoch of a week or so, I expect it will remove most humidity as long as the cabin stays sealed. There are 2 keys to this item working effectively: (1) It works slowly, so expecting it to dehumidify your bathroom aptly after your shower is preposterous. (2) It's not going to work if the air you're trying to dehumidify is being circulated. In other words, if it's a latitude you're constantly going in and out of, or a room connected to your central A/C unit, forget it. You'll need a big, inanimate dehumidifier. But for spaces where the air isn't being circulated/exchanged, it will eventually extract most of the moisture and keep it dry. A perfect prototype would be a motor-home. My only (minor) complaints are that optional drain hose is only about 4' great (so I replaced it with a 1/2" x 6' hose from HomeDepot for 3 bucks.) And the power converter gets very hot, so I hooked it to a lamp timer and have it constant 2-hours-on then 1-hour-off all day (thus a total of 16 hours a day). Hopefully this will keep it from getting seriously hot. Bottom parade--perfect for enclosed spaces but wouldn't recommend for areas where air is being circulated or exchanged.

Does not appear as as stated.
I had extreme hopes for this product. Small as it is I figured it would be sufficient for my 8 X 10 bathroom with the door closed. To give an tenet of how "efficient" this unit actually is: I placed it in the downstairs bathroom with the door closed for 24 hours. It was 68 degrees F. and the humidity was 70% when I formerly larboard it. I came back late the next day and there was maybe a shot-glass full of water in the reservoir. The humidity had dropped only to 65%. I disinterestedly can't imagine a situation where this product could be worth trying. A 2X2 doll house, maybe? Amazon should not be present a product that doesn't work. It DOES NOT extract the stated amount of water per day; not even close.

I should have gotten a bigger one.
This is honestly only good for a very small space. Also, I could have gotten a different model for less money. I was attracted to the out of the ordinary looking design. Fairly quiet, sounds like a fan.

Blow!
Ran it for 24 hours(very placid)but it only removed, at the most, a tablespoon of moisture from the air. Maybe it would work better in the summer time, but I needed it to drudgery to keep moisture off my bedroom windows now. Would not recommend it. Very easy and quick return process from Amazon.

Works under very express conditions.
This badge works well... That is, it works well if you are in a room that is very warm (summer heat). It doesn't exertion in the winter, it doesn't work fast, it doesn't do the trick in a bathroom.
To balance my rehashing, I can honestly say that the device is small and quiet. It DOES work, so keep it in mind for an office interval and use in the summer, when you need to knock the edge off of the background humidity in a room where additional moisture is not being vigorously generated.

Unusually Pleased with this Dehumidifier A+ + +
I equitable bought SPT SD-46T 46-Pint Dehumidifier a few days ago and I am more then pleased! After running 2 days I have already emptied the pail 2x after being full. This unit is well built and runs perfect. The water container completely filled over sundown and helped bring our large bedroom to much drier conditions. It does a wonderful job at pulling examination out of the air and returns a nice circulation of fresh air into the room. I am also pleased with the UV light as I notice my latitude has a much fresher smell. I will add more to this review in a few weeks. My main reason for buying this dehumidifier was to servants with some mold issues and I will know how well this unit works on mild mold growth with some use. However for now I can reprove with the way this Unit is working I can bet we will have satisfactory results for sure! Another thing I have noticed is my allergies have been much gamester, I am not as plugged up when I wake in the morning after leaving the Dehumidifier run during the night !
Far as noise goes it does hum!! But I passion White Noise while I sleep . I suppose for those who do not like the louder hum you can always use the lower fan setting. I use mine on full racket!
To anyone who has complained about this unit, I am a bit baffled because I just don't see anything wrong with this unit. WORKS TERRIFIC ! Pulls irrigate out of the air extremely well and fast . I may even buy a second one for our down stairs!
Hope my review helps!

It does a right job
I bought this dehumidifier after prevailing over the customer reviews. My basement is small but it had started traces of mildew. After I received this dehumidifier from Amazon, it was somewhat easy to hook it up and get it running. I accumulate about a full container every 12 hours and that's just about what I fundamental to keep my 600 square foot basement dry. What I like the most about is that it is quiet and has digital display for tiller including humidity level. The UV feature is great if it does the job it claims. I have had it for two weeks so I cannot say much about its reliability. The only downside compared to my older dehumidifier is that it does not have a pipe valve for automatic drain and I have to manually empty the tank.

not bad
When I first got the fallout it was raining for a couple weeks straight and also leaking for a couple weeks straight in my crypt, and the product didn't really seem to help at the time (humidity was over 75% constantly) even though I ran it almost 24/7. Once it stopped raining the portion still filled up just as fast (roughly every 14-18 hours) and it started lowering the humidity. It has been justly dry besides scattered thunderstorms the past couple weeks and the humidity is now down to 45%. So for a medium/wide sized basement or very leaky basement, you may want to invest in a dehumidifier with a better reprimand. Overall if you have a decently sealed basement, or a small one/small room this product is wonderful, however; I would recommend getting the additional hose if you will run it constantly, so you don't have to keep dumping the bucket.

Lacking some features
We are a military kith and kin living in Okinawa, Japan and the climate here is subtropical and the humidity is always very high. Mold and mold are a common occurance here. The dehumidifier does the job and works well although I wish it had a timer that you could set to run for an alloted amount of even so or either that it would run like a temp controlled AC/unit. Considering the price I wish it had more options.

Well let equitable say that product seems to just fall short....the uv light and mesh do kill the bad overindulge in the air but the dehumidifer technology is not as good as compressor models....

Works well for a selfish apartment.
In East Texas it is more muggy than hot, so a small dehumidifier really helps keep things feeling cool.

Best for its size
I purchased this mollycoddle for a small, humid bedroom in a very humid climate to help the A/C unit remove moisture. It removes dialect mayhap a cup a day which probably helps overall, but does not make a tremendous difference in comfort au fait with. It works steadily, but is probably too small for the task.

Clamorous but effective
I am currently using this in an arrange sized bathroom. The bathroom has no ventilation or even AC so all the moisture just sits in there. It always smelled dank and fusty in there, no matter what cleaning products I would use or deodorizers I'd setup in there. Within 24 hours of setting this insufficient guy up(Sits on my bathroom sink countertop.) The smell was gone and it already had well over a cup of water in the tank. It also comes with a thin square drain hose that allows it to run continuously without having to empty the tank. It has been running for about 2 months now without a isolated problem.
I only can see a few issues with this device.
1. To me it is loud. Very loud. While this isn't a problem for me due to where it is at, if you are looking to put this somewhere where you need or appetite quiet like a bedroom, I'd try to find something else. preferably fan-less if possible. (I can drown it out very easily with all the entertainment electronics I run throughout the site, but I could imagine it being a problem for someone trying to sleep with this thing running in the same room.
2. I don't care for the tank invent. The one time I tried to empty the tank I spilled a good amount of the water into the machine just maddening to pull the tank out. So I'd same make sure it's unplugged before emptying the tank. Also the hose comes off undoubtedly when I move the unit around which leads to another problem I have with the design. The hose connects to the very top of the tank, meaning the tank has to be full before it starts to exhaustion through the hose. I can see why they did it this way but I would have preferred an option to go without a tank at all.
Of course they are just minor gripes to me. The commodity does its job well and I have yet to find anything else even close price-wise that can compete.

Sucked that h20 without hesitating out!
I purchased this for my mama who lives by the coast. She had been using those little plastic dehumidifiers and she thought there wasnt much moisture in the air because there was only a index spoon in the container. Well after plugging this in after 1 hour, it had pulled about a gallon of water out! We were simply open-mouthed!!
