I purchased this dehumidifier for large for my downstairs and wanted one quiet enough for use in my bedroom upstairs if needed. And, boy is this thing quiet. Ethically, my refrigerator is louder. The last I purchased removed lots of water, but it can be heard throughout the house when it was contest. So i only used it when needed. The NewAir is super quiet. I often walk by it to make sure its on.
The NewAir works prominent in all weather conditioners . Running the central air is not necessary since the house is not hot. So I use a dehumidifier, which makes the organization seem less clammy. I would recommend the Newair AD 400 to anyone who is looking for a small, really quiet, relatively disclose, dehumidifier that works well without with out excess noise.

Valueless - I do not recommend
I bought this merchandise to use in my car. I tried it in the car, it eventually killed my battery. I then tried it in a small room in my cellar where the sump push is, days later it accumulated not even a drop. If asked I would recommend this product.

Worked virtuously - then stopped
This effect worked pretty well for its size for the first couple months. Then I put it away for winter and when I took it out again, it wouldn't build back on.
Not as honourable as I expected.
Before I bought it, I interpret the reviews and descriptions, so I had expected it is as quiet and good as other customers experienced. It was very noisy on first few time but now seems getting quiet. As for drying the moisture, it did but not as much as I hoped.
