Dearest IT!!
I have the 70 pint, and turtle-dove it! It's way more quiet than the Whirlpool I replaced it with, and it is doing an awesome job of removing the moisture from our air. Also, I like the notification to absolutely confess the filter...which I can tend to forget! I wish the bucket was a little more user friendly in regards to maintenance it, but I can overlook that when it comes to the entire package! I'm actually debating buying a second I like this one so much!
crypt dehumidifier
notice was delivered on time and the unit seems to be well designed. since I have it only a few months I can say that it does the job, however I hope it lasts longer than a nearly the same unit I had last year.
On the fritz unit, no help from Frigidaire
Received element was defective, touch controls not responding. We immediately call Frigidaire - they told us to wait 2-3 generation. 4 days later - no change - Unit working non stop ,not reacting on drink control. Call Frigidaire again - they agreed that unit defective and told us contact retailer. Now it is between you and seller, manufacturer refuse to accept any responsibility.
Dehumidufier
I bought this implement for the basement. After first several days, the room humidity reduce to comfortable level.
Works Capacious So Far...
This dehumidifier Non-Standard real pulls a lot of water from the air very quickly. In the Illinois summer humidity it fills twice a day (when we have the air conditioning off). When full, the component shuts off, a light goes on, and the bucket is very easy to remove and empty when you notice it is off. The filter set comes on after about 2 weeks as a reminder, and the filter slides right out with a little tug. Cleaning it only takes a trice. It kicks out some heat, but, because it lowers the humidity, the room feels more comfortable anyway. The built in hygrometer seems to be meticulous because I have another one I checked it against. I've only had this for a month, so I can't comment yet on its longevity, but I will edit the review when I've had it for awhile. I shopped around, and the consequence on Amazon was by far the best. With the Amazon prime trial it arrived in 2 days, no shipping permeate.

It'll suck the steam off your coffee.....
and see your living space liveable in the muggiest of weather. In a recent weather phenomenon that socialistic us lying around gasping like carp, the idea of dehumidifying came to us. We researched the brands elbow, the prices and features, and picked the Frigidaire. The name itself was appealing---Frigid Air--- even with central air, windows and a west rumoured. Reviewers likened the water tank to
vegetables' storage from the bottom of a refrigerator, which they are, to a degree. The section is not quiet by any means, but the health benefits became immediately apparent. Our 14-year old Beagle with
marrow problems slept soundly and peacefully. Within hours, I felt relief from allergies, felt happier than I had in so long. Emptying the unit is no great chore. Haven't spilled a drop, and may not seize up the hose. Oddly enough, it produces enough heat to warm the house in the morning, saving vivacity. I can't say enough about this great little product. I can't imagine units selling for 4 or 6 times the price
could do a ameliorate job. We are delighted with it! So grateful to Amazon for it.
Outstanding Product for the Value
We were without a humidifier in our underground room for about 2 weeks. It was very humid and muggy - this Frigidaire had it smelling fresh and clean again in about 48 hours. It is quite quiet and very efficient. I highly recommend.
Champion value
This dehumidifier is an A number value. All dehumidifiers make a little noise. They are small air conditioning units in a way, and they have a blower to broadcast the air. Since those are confined to a small space, and move a bit of air, and have a compressor, you will hear some noise. And simply by the nature of vehicle 6.25 gallons of water in a tank to empty it, it will be a bit awkward. But neither of these things keep me from rating this with 5-stars. It does its job very well, is rather calm, and thanks to an ingenious tank slide-out, and carry handle, emptying the tank is a restore of cake. And boy, does this thing dehumidify! First two days it sucked a total of 6 tankfuls of not hold up under out of our basement air. That's over 36 gallons of water. Lowered the humidity from almost 70% to just over 50%, that's on unending run. Now we've got it set to 60% and we'll see how that works. Love this unit. Hadn't bought a dehumidifier in over 20 years, so was skeptical that with today's penurious manufacturing standards, we would have a hard time finding a decent unit. Not so. This Frigidaire deserves the singular ratings it has received to date, and we are completely satisfied with our purchase.
Works keen, but expect some heat.
I recently purchased a raised ranch family with a finished basement in upstate NY, and noticed on a humid or rainy day, the basement would start to scent and feel damp. There was visually no water anywhere in the basement, but it was pretty humid. After a lot of research, I purchased this dehumidifier in hopes that it would removed that misty mildew smell. The basement is around 900 sq ft, finished with carpet except in a utility closet where my sump drive, water heater, etc, are. Based on some reviews, and some help from frigidaire's customer service, I went with this 50 pt mould. I almost went with a Soleus, but noticed they have some problems down the road.

I received the unit in 2 days (glory to Amazon prime), set it up for continous run mode, and fired it up. Within 3 hours, the container was already full. Amazing. Over the next 2 life, I left the unit running 24/7, and easily had to empty it 2-3 times a day. It made a huge overt change in the humidity, and the mildew smell was gone almost instantly. This thing can really improve some water. I recently set it up to maintain a humidity level of 50, and it seems to only run about half the time.

The only things that I DON'T like about it are the stir it gives off, and the noise level. My basement (again, about 900 sq ft give or take) heated up about 8 degrees when it was running in connected mode over 2 days. I was a little bummed about it, since my basement has been the place to go to cool off on a hot day. I'll have to see how it does when not operation it all the time. Also, it's kind of louder than I was hoping for. It's comparable to my 12,000 BTU air conditioner with the a/c on high. To agree these issues, I'm going to try placing it in a different area, and setting it up on a timer to run during the times we don't use the crypt.

All in all this is a great unit. It's easy to use, does the job well, and works as advertised. I'm very happy with it. I think if I were to do it all over again, I would go with a smaller exemplar. I think it's a little overkill for the size of my basement. As far as longevity, I'll have to write another review in a year, but I've owned several frigidaire products with no issues.

I would give it 4 1/2 stars, but since amazon doesn't make allowance it, I'll give it 4 stars. It's not perfect, but it's pretty darn close. If you need a dehumidifier for a medium sized underground store, I highly recommend this one.

Frigidare Dehumidifier is Vast !
My dehumidifier started to give me problems after about 5 years of armed forces. After reading through many reviews on Amazon, I decided to purchase the Frigidare 50 pint dehumidifier from Amazon. I understand about how it was noisy and how the water container was hard to remove. I can honestly say that after a month of useage, I attraction this unit. It is so quiet that instead of opening the basement door to hear if it is running, I have to go downstairs and look. The distilled water container is easy for me to remove, just give a little tug on the two openings on the ends and slide it out. I was very glad with the amount of water that it removes from the air. I would recommend this unit to anyone who wants a great dehumidifier for a decent honorarium.

So far, so complimentary
Ran it on "unbroken" for four days as it filled two buckets per day (and spent a lot of time off because the bucket was full). On the 4th day it did not quite fill the second pail by the expected time, so I reset it to a target of 45% humidity. However, it is still removing two buckets per day, and only periodically reaches its target humidity level. Maybe I'll rig it with a hose, but actually I like perceptive how much water it is removing. In any case, the basement FEELS much more comfortable now.

It sounds like a stentorian fan. Wouldn't be fun trying to hold a quiet conversation, but playing wild, intense tableland tennis with my teenager son (who beats me like a drum; oh well, I can still outrun him in the 10K, I think) I do not even hear the constituent at all.

The knock on dehumidifiers (besides being noisy--why do they have to be noisier than a refrigerator, even noisier than a room air conditioner?) is that they all break in 18 months. Fingers are crossed. But it has been avail so far (3 weeks).

Don't let the $228 price put you off. That includes the "free" shipping, which would cost at least $40 if it were billed independently.
Famed Dehumidifier
This entity runs rather quietly, which is a plus. It is very effective and I like the washable filter. It seems like a characteristic product and has done a good job removing humidity from my entire basement, which is rather large. I've had dehumidifiers in the past that die after a to some degree short time period, so I hope that this one lasts but it's too early to say for sure.
Most qualified dehumidifier I've owned
I've owned four dehumidifiers over the years from kenmore and LG. All were darned noisy and broke after a couple years.

This is by far the best dehumidifier I've owned. I've been using the frigidaire about 18months now. It's chassis is mouldable (very rugged) which seems to contribute to it's low noise. It just sounds like a fan is running - there is no compressor buzz to converse in of. The fit and finish is the best I've seen -- the bucket is very strong, tight fitting and well intended (it has a float to disable dehumidifier and a built in splash cover when carrying a full bucket). It fills up the pail in about 12 hours and my humidity is about 50% for what it's worth.

The only possible problem is that it short cycles (turns on/off too often and too post-haste) if I set a desired humidity level. It pulls water out of the air quickly so that it's probably oversized for it's extent size / humidity levels (I knew this when selecting the 70pint version). Nonetheless, I would count on there to be a timer to prevent short cycles. It's possible compressor is rated for the short cycles...fair something to note. I just run it once a day on continuous until bucket fills up, so it's not an issue for me.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the physique quality and noise levels are so much better than anything I've owned in the past (and it dehumidifies as expected). Excluding cycles are more of an observation, your mileage may vary. Finally a dehumidifier that does not shake and noise and just sounds like a fan!

Extravagant Dehumidifier!
I purchased this offshoot over 3 months ago now. It has ran great and continues to keep my basement free of dampness. The dehumidifier ran continuously for less a week before it cleaned out the humidity from my 40x30 unfinished basement (with little to no furniture), but now it runs only three to four times a week for about 2 hours at a point and I empty it only 1-2 times a week. The container that collects the water is difficult to remove at first, but if you comprehend the manual (and press the sides together)the machine is a fabulous addition to your home!! It IS piercing, like other reviews are confirming; however, for me- hearing it run is a reassurance that it is working! And it is not so loud that you can not mask it. Reusable cloth is great, but needs cleaned often (if it runs often). Also the efficiency on this unit is SO eco-friendly... my charged bill only went up $15 for the first month of use (and it ran for over a week continuously! I emptied it daily!) Capacious PRODUCT!!! STRONGLY RECOMMEND for large basements with dampness problems!
Telling and well designed
This dehumidifier works well and will indisputably remove an entire tank (17 pints) of water from the air in about 20 hours. I have owned it for a brace of weeks now and have let it run nonstop without any problems. It's rather loud but it's fine for our basement. It has a large 17-pint reservoir or you can snag a hose up to it and it will drain continuously. It has a high and high setting and different modes for devoted operation or a thermostat so you can set it to certain humidity level. Many people say that it blows lots of hot air but it is rather sedateness air that is expelled from ours. It's strong enough that you could almost use it as a fan. Overall I would consider this a good buy.

Neat unit but loud
This is a worthwhile unit, especially for the price. Its controls are simple and the unit itself is compact but quite effectual. We had some dampness in our basement due to a water leak and it has really helped to dry the air out. Its water collection tray is a barely small, so you may end up emptying it often, though you can get around this by attaching a hose to the outlet. It is loud, so if you are sensitive to noise then this unquestionably isn't the unit for you.
Wonderful little machine
Wonderful mean machine. We have two dehumidifiers in the basement, one the Frigidaire 25-pint. It collects twice as much water as our other machine. I can't cool one's heels for the other one to break! so I can replace it with a second Frigidaire.
Dehumidifier works zealous.
This dehumidifier was bought to use only in the bedroom. It worked very well but it was well-meaning of noisy so we moved it to the living room and now it dehumidifies our entire house (its a very small accommodate though - 1 bedroom). I'm very happy with this because I thought I would have to buy a second.
Works well
I was surprised by the less small water container, as I had been judging by the "capacity" which refers to the rate of water quintessence, not the size of the bin, but not a big deal. It is noisy, but works very well.
bob
Piece works very well. It is a bit noisy as there is only one fan speed. It does remove the moisture efficiently.

works significant
This element works great and much quiter than my old whirlpool. I use it in my basement of 1050 sq. feet and there is no condinsation what so ever not even on the douse lines, very satisfied.
Notable dehumidifier for the price
I was looking for a dehumidifier with over 50 pint space to replace the one in my basement that died after 8 years (a Kenmore). This one arrived a few days after I ordered it. I set it up within minutes. There were some reports indicating the extravagantly bucket was hard to remove but I found it pretty easy. I really like the fact that when it is on-going it displays the actual measured humidity in the room. There were also reports that it was loud. I use it in my basement (unfinished) so I didn't regard about this. However, I found it to be quieter than my old Kenmore so I was pleasantly surprised.
Wonderful Appliance
I purchased this dehumidifier after reading several reviews and they are all actual, it is a great machine at a good price, and this is the third dehumidifier that I have owned, the best of the bunch. Started up retaliate for away, works quickly and quietly, it's good looking too.
Works incomparable
Bought this module after canceling order from HD Supply. They couldn't deliver for 4 months. Good thing, this part has twice the capacity per day and was $60 less. Also you can hook a hose to it and dump it in a floor drain in preference to of using the pan.
Excellent Product and Value
We have had dominating basement flooding problems this spring and needed a second dehumidifier. This product was the maximum effort price compared to Home Depot, etc.. and it runs beautifully. It is very easy to empty the catch pail and also very easy to roll around to any location. It was packed very well, yet easy to get out of the box. It is not too heavy, but certainly is well built and hale. If you are looking for a dehumidifier this is your best choice. I did alot of research before i bought this product and I am very satsified with my decission.

Dishwasher not starting - Appliance Repair Forum

I checked all of the guerrilla readings on "call 5" of the Detailed message. they all looked fittingly except for the Thermistor (thru harnes with connector unplugged) where I got 2.5M when it said it should only be 10K. So I to be found the Thermistor underneath and pulled it out. I then checked the defiance where the tawny and red terminals would hook on it. Now, i get a reading of well-grounded under 10K, which seems to be in the okay line - interpretation it has not ruined, I put faith. I can see no nicks or cuts in the harness between the hold back surface and the Thermistor (which perhaps could give a higher guerillas). i even plugged the Thermistor back in and got another "too stoned" reading. Not satisfied what to look at next. Any imaginings?
