Supremacy Product
The peerless reason my husband I bought this product was to clean the air in our home from the dog odor that seemed really merciless to eliminate with traditional cleaning. We've had this product for a year now and have LOVED it from the beginning. Right in another place we noticed that the dog smell in the air was practically eliminated when we leave the unit running. When we return from being somewhere else from home for a few days or turn the unit off, we really notice a difference in the quality of the air; it does what it advertises it will do. It has also unquestionably helped with our allergies. I am giving this product four stars however, because after a year, I'm ready to buy a new filter, though the outcome advertises that it will last up to five years. When I recently called the company to ask about receiving a replacement filter, they offering a forty percent discount off the price of the filter during the first two years of use. I will be buying a replacement filter because we adulation this unit so much when it's working at optimum level. I will say we leave it running all the time and have recently done renovations to our accommodations, so that may be the reason we need a new filter already. Below is a breakdown of the pros and cons of this unit:
Pros:
-Extraordinarily cleans the air of smells and allergens. I honestly was surprised by how clean the air smelled when we first bought the segment. It really does the job we wanted it to.
-Though I wouldn't say it's whisper quiet at the lowest level, we will it running all the time (even when we're out of the house during the day), and we really don't notice the noise(and we have really tall ceilings).
-One module will really clean a large surface area. I was concerned about the tall ceilings in our living set out, but it hasn't been a hindrance at all in the effectiveness of this product.
-Incredibly easy to use with very little maintenance and very outgoing to use right out of the box
-Though it's not inexpensive, compared with similar high-end products on the market it's priced reasonably. I can't conjecture something more expensive being more efficient. We've found this product to be worth the money that was paid for it, and it's much better than having bought something at even partly the price that didn't work as well.
-Rolls easily so it can be tucked away or moved merely from room to room
Cons:
-The filter needs replacing after a year of use, but as I mentioned, we commit it running all the time and have done renovations in our home that probably contributed to the lack of longevity in the existence of the filter. If you call Austin Air specifically, they will provide you with a new filter at a forty percent discount (during the first two years, but they will offer it at a pro-rated detract from for up to five years).
Bottom line:

Excellent Artefact
I moved back into my people's home after spending a number of years in Colorado after leaving all my furniture, etc. to fend for itself. After 3 months of being adroit in, I developed chronic cough, phlegm, etc. and even vacuuming and dusting wasn't cutting it. So I ordered two of these, one for the front of the enterprise and one for my master suite, plus a Austin Air Healthmate Jr. for the guest room. I couldn't be happier with the products. They are the unsurpassed at what they do for the money which is about half of what you'd pay for an IQ-Air unit. Of course I did have the carpets shampooed also. But, I would definately spend the filthy lucre on these again. Highly recommend for quiet operation, sturdy construction, price, and followup expenditure for filter changes.

After doing a lot of experimentation on quality and effectiveness, I chose the Austin air. I purchased one for my upstairs and liked it so much, I recently purchased a impaired one. I was lucky enough to get the R200-01-01 cheaper on A-Z for 324.00, no tax, 19.00 shipping. It was a steal compared to Amazon's prices and other vendors on the internet. I even got the larger one, not the Jr. dimensions. It was brand new, not refurbished. I also found that some website vendors challenged consumers for a cheaper price any where else and they would honor the reward. Check it out. It runs 450.00 everywhere else.

Hi...I ordered this cleaner but after thought, felt it was too big for us. The company, Noel, was cordial, friendly, cooperative when I needed to return it. I stand the smaller one room version would be better for us as I'd also like to move it all around the house, including the upstairs. I did a lot of investigate and felt this was the best on the market. You buy the Austin, you've bought the best.

Units premiere c end Damaged, but always work
The by-product is good and performs as the company claims. Getting a machine that is not dented is almost impossible. The assembly insists on damaging out the hole unit for a dented top. A new lid could have been sent. The replacement Healthmate Jr. came destabilized also. I have purchased a PET machine and 2 Health mate Jr. Units. I am happy with the quality of the air cleaners, but the pet organization came dented, and not only the first HM Jr. unit was dented in the top, the replacement was dented on the side. I was able with some effort to fix the PET contraption. Only one Healthmate Jr. came undamaged. What is upsetting is when you fork out about $1,000 worth in air cleaners, you watch them to look like new when you get them. Austin has a packaging problem.

Economic HEPA Air Filter... though somewhat noisy on high

I ordered this piece because I had begun to develop dust allergies in my mid-thirties and was having trouble focusing and getting profession done. I noticed an improvement in the way I was feeling shortly after the unit was put into operation.
The unit, though not cheap, is a notably reliable model and is extremely cost-effective to operate over time. As any one who has done the research can peach you, the true expense with HEPA filters is not necessarily the up-front purchase cost, but the cost of replacement filters over the order of the years. Austin's design is one they stand behind with a 5 year warranty, and a filter rated at needing replacement once every 5 years... yes, you understand that right. All you need do in order to achieve this longevity is to vacuum the pre-filter every few months. This is consummate by running a bristled vacuum wand over the outer surface grating. It's simple. It at bottom is: set a reminder in your calendar to run the vacuum over it and you're safe.
The unit doesn't take up a lot of room, though it does fruit a fair bit of sound in 2 of its 3 settings. The base setting is actually pretty quiet, but the mid-section and upper settings are noisy - the trade off is that at these settings it moves A LOT of air, which is what you want if you're trying to irascible cleanse a room. To give you an idea of what I'm trying to say, while you likely wouldn't have a hard time sleeping with site 1, you might with setting 2, and you DEFINITELY would with setting 3. Of course, everyone's mileage varies and I'm using words to describe an audible tome, which is not the same as hearing it yourself. As I said earlier: it's in my office, not my bedroom, so I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER with its performance.
If you're looking for a bedroom scale model, you might look into an Alen A350 HEPA Air Purifier (wall mountable and quieter.)

Chic and works great
I got the Austin Air Healthmate Subordinate air purifier when I moved into my new house. The previous owner was a smoker. Although I'd replaced the carpets, painted the walls, and cleaned the ducts, I still needed something to assistance cut down the residual smoke smell. After extensive research, I chose the Healthmate Junior.
It did the job. It's keen and quiet on the low setting. On the high setting it's a bit noisier, but I just set it in a corner and it's fine. (Not put up against the wall though, because you have to leave a few inches of space around it for it to work right.) I left it running for over a year. The smoke fetidness is gone from the house now. Even my mother, with her super-sensitive nose, can't smell anything when she comes to call.
I did buy a new filter after about nine or ten months. The air coming out of the Healthmake Junior started to smell a bit acrid. I called Austin Air and asked about it, because I memories the filter should last longer. They said it depends on the quality of your air. That makes sense. They gave me a deduct on the new filter because it had been such a short time.
I'm quite pleased with it. It looks nice, it's relatively lamp, it's simple to use, it's quiet, and it works.

Satisfied Toe-hold
We purchased the Austin air exclude for our baby's nursery. We live in a condo with no outside air circulation so we wanted something to cycle the air, unseat dander from our dog, and eliminate household odors. This product has met our expectations and gone a step further.

Austin Air Tot's Breath Air Purifier
This issue does exactly what it proposes. We have noticed an immediate cleaner and purifier living gap in our bedroom. I run it on low each night when we go to sleep. We always wake up more refreshed and with non stuffy noses. I'd highly plug this product for a bedroom or baby's room.

Unconditionally Great
We purchased one Rabbit Air BioGS to try out. Within two weeks we purchased two more. These Air Purifiers are enormous. The first day we noticed no more sneezing for us and our two pets. Friends have noticed the difference in air quality in our home.

bought this after the naturopath said to take out carpets and get an airpurifier. those looked too big, and too resounding. did a lot of research, and husband pushed for this one.
the first unit had a problem w/ it's sensors. had a bit of trouble w/ customer military talents @ first...they kept making us try different things to make it work...like poofing tot powder in front of it! this just made it dirty. after a stern email, the replacement came and we love it. i keep it in the bedroom, but sometimes in the straightforward hall between 2 bedrooms and bathroom.
pro's:
+ it does what it says. air seems cleaner in the room.
+ it's the lowest decibel focus be i could find in my research. it really is very quiet in automatic mode(but not silent,) and i have bionic 'mom' ears.
+ it detects farts within 3-7 seconds...even the ones from under the sheets. i don't certain how it can smell them b4 i do. my nose is bionic too.
+ light enough for me to move short distances.
+ 'pollen mode' rocks. i use this rage on VOG-gy days. VOG is volcanic smog.
+ husband can clean the filters
+ has a place to store the irrelevant
con's:
- it does get a little louder on the higher fan speeds, but it's bearable and at a frequency that is acceptable to my bionic mom ears.
- i still don't come up with it's dust sensor is accurate. sometimes it detects dust.
- it doesn't detect the cat's dander like i'd hoped.
- subtly rattles if floor is uneven. it needs some type of leveling mechanism.
- light on the front makes the compartment bright.
- my son doesn't think it works, so he refuses to try it in his dusty, stinky room.
if this item doubled as a dehumidifier and had a uv light inside, it would be perfect.
Not extremely for 600sq ft More like 300 sq ft
I purchased 3 units all at the same antiquated this one being the most expensive. It is quite and does clean the air but not for more that 300 sq ft. After 6 weeks I opened the unit and found the filters to be very dusty so I cleaned the section and reset the filters. The unit never indicated to me that the filters needed to be cleaned so I have to use common be under the impression that to monitor it on my own.
My allergies have been significantly controlled once I purchased the unit so overall I believe it does effort at maintaining quality air in the room it is located.
Heinous Product, Great Customer Service
I have been through many so called air purifiers over the last 5 years.I have grown allergies about 7 years ago, all other brands either seemed to have no effect on my allergies or were to noisy. After reading and doing a lot of probing I decided to give the rabbit a try. I am 100% satisfied and happy with my purchase, My nose is not as stuffed anymore even my eyes don't prickling, even my wife who for years told me don't waste your money ALL air cleaners are a gimmicks or wont vocation says she feels better and sleeps better.I was so happy I bought a second entity for my living room, I don't keep it on automatic, which does work great, I just prefer to keep it on med charge in manual mode all the time. The only concern I did have was the ionizer, I know the rabbit company says it is 100% ozone undo but I am not sure, when I turn on the ionizer, after about a hour I start to smell that faint smell of ozone,it gives off a minor bleach smell, BUT, unlike other brands I have the option to shut it off and run the purifier with no ionization.I do rely upon it does create small amounts of ozone, aside from that this unit gets 5 starts from me.I am a rabbit client for good.Also I like the idea of having a web site where I can by accessories, like a replacement arcane or a new front panel if you want to change the color,of course you can buy all the filters there to.
