This is for odors!
There are assets c incriminating evidence general purpose filters out there that are much less expensive and will give you clean air, but that's not really what this is for.
I moved into a new place a while back, and the preceding owner had a dog, a fireplace, smoked in the house, and had new carpet in 1 room, and old WOW-musty carpet in another.
He also clearly didn't like to take out the garbage, because the whole place smelled like month old cooking gewgaws.
I vacuumed, steam cleaned, painted, scrubbed, vacuumed some more, but the odors always came back. It was also ant infested, and I needed to smoulder the place more than once.
I keep reptile pets, so it's a HUGE inconvenience to fume the place, as they all have to get moved out to fragrance.
Also, there was a major water leak, and whenever you ran the A/C, it was obvious there was mold in the vents.
It took a long ease, but I'm running this on low speed 24/7 in my living room, and it keeps the place liveable while I slowly got the smells under restraint with cleaning. It does wonders on cooking odors, pet odors, staleness, mustyness, "wet dog" and some things that HEPA filters won't match, like living next to the wastewater treatment plant.
