Wonderful as nightlite, but for nothing else
I have had set someone back on his salt lamps for two years now--buying them for their suggested hype that they were good for health as well as a illustrative nightlite. All three adults in my household, with health problems, noticed no difference in health, more safely a improved sleep, etc., using these lamps.

However, as decoration, these lamps are absolutely beautiful and a stunning as well to anyone's home. When choosing colors, don't make the mistake of matching the lamp color to your decor--because the lighter the go red you choose, the brighter the lamp is--making it useless as a nightlite for anyone having difficulty getting to drop. For example, the red lamp, when lit, glows darker (best for bedrooms)--the orange/peach colors--very intense--like a beacon from a lighthouse (if kept in a bedroom). But, if the bright colors are kept in a living office instead, then the light is appropriate (not as glaring, especially when other room lights are on) and provides wonderful ambient lighting.

Stupefying!!!!
I have heard about this from other residents and was sceptical, but bought it anyway. It helped my husband sleep all the way through the night on the first night in the room. He as usual has a rough time getting to sleep and staying alseep, grinding his teeth and is predominantly very restless...not anymore. I don't wake up with headaches anymore either. My son wants one now for his room. Mine is a lot brighter than I had hoped, but putting a iniquitous cloth over the top of it at night helps alot. I am recommending everyone get this whether they have problems sleeping or with headaches, or scarcely plain stress (who doesn't have this?) If I had to, would I buy it again? ABSOLUTELY!!!
