Exactly perfect
I don't conceive of all the fuss. This A/C is easy to assemble, is attractive and quiet. I did put the exhaust and drain through the wall and there wasn't a "embankment cap" provided so I assume I must call. Other than that it's a keeper.
Not suited cooling for extreme heat
I bought this to put in place of a 7000 BTU unit that cooled well enough but leaks when it's humid. I tried this for the first time last night. The elbow-room is 250 sq ft, the upper limit of the recommended area. The upstairs room was admittedly HOT (92deg) after being uncooled for 2-3 period during a dry heat wave (external temp reached 100deg). The air produced by the entity was 64 deg. After an hour it only lowered the temperature to 87 deg, not cool enough for sleeping. It's supposed to get clammy over the next couple of days; perhaps it will work better, although my wall unit downstairs works cool to cover a greater area.

Works for Me!
Have a 18'x24' allowance with half vaulted ceilings. Room faces west. Love this unit. Already our era in May, now June have been hot! 100+heat factors. We live in Ms. and how good it feels to come in out of the sun to a serene, almost cold room.
Suitable, not bad, not great.
This is manufactured abroad, therefore temp adjustments are via a Celcius scale, not Fahrenheit, even though it shows Fahrenheit. Therefore adjustments are in 2 rank f (68, 70, 72, 74, etc). You can't select 73 degrees f. It does not offer full control over fan race/sound. Even on low speed, the fan will accelerate when the unit is more then 2 degrees higher than the set temp. The remote is IR, not RF and requirements clear line of sight to the unit. Otherwise, it does cool well. My kilowatt meter showed that it employed about 50 cents an 8 hour period (10cent KWH) to cool a room about 8 degrees cooler than ambient temp... It is by no means a spirit star product, however I do not think any of these portable units meet that standard. It does standoffish a medium sized room well (19x12) with a vaulted ceiling. Given that the responsible level increases, even with the fan set on low, this may not be the best air conditioner for a bedroom. I use it in my home office during the day and turn the other thermostats off/up, so it works for me.

Benefit enough for now
This constituent does what it was design to do, cool & heat.
I have the exhaust mounted in a wall.
Seems quieter than my smaller window piece in my bed room, its not that noisy.
I think the compressor is very quite, the fan makes most of the noise.
The casing seems a dollop cheap, all plastic.
It rolls easily and has side grips to lift it.
The unit was completely torn out of the rude packaging when it arrived.
Parts were falling out, 1 was missing. Amazon made good on that.
After selection there wasn't any damage so I am keeping the unit.
I would say that this is a decent unit and should give me a lot of service.

My parents solid to buy my 2008 Hyundai Elantra basic, which is cool, becuase they got me a car. But it is getting exceptionally hot outside, and my car is black- but i have no AC! Does anyone kno where I can kind an air conditioner kit for my car, and how much it would tariff?

only kit for a car that new would be traffic installed a/c kit and they are not cheap.
only other option would be to find a wrecked one in the same year chain and rip everything out of it.
you'd need all kinds, condensor, evaporator w/underdash boxes, all a/c words, misc. bolts, brackets, possibly wiring harnesses if the car isnt pre-wired either, a/c compressor w/apparatus bracket, belt, possibly crank pulley, compressor oil, and freon. I propose b assess I may have left something out but you get the idea.
its a huge pain in the butt and even if you got all the parts together on the tinpot...and I mean EVERYTHING...it sounds like you have no clue how to install it yourself and a look for would charge you an arm and a leg to do it since they'd have to pull out the entire dash to hang the underdash components.
